Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicThe breakfast was simple. That is not an issue we were informed about it. But it was late more than half an hour and there was no apologies about it. Is there only one woman who knows how to make a coffee? 🤦🏼♀️ Because we were waiting for her and other stuff was just saying “one more minute”. Please give them a training for the next time. Also the room with reception was not really clean. It really worsened my impression and review.
The place is close to the Niagara Falls. It is good quality for the price.

CanadaThe pool was clean but so cold that even our 5yo could only last 20 mins before her lips went blue. There was only bread (and tea and coffee) for breakfast. The room was clean, but we noticed we all had dirty feet after walking around barefoot in the room so it likely needed a mop. There were some wasps outside the rooms and our car got a bunch of wasps inside while parked there.
Clean, decent location for walking to Clifton hill with free parking and good price for the amount of space/separate bedrooms and friendly staff.

The room was clean however Roy was rundown with gaps in the drywall and a missing faucet for the shower. The room needed repairs.

United StatesThere were fruit flies in the room that were a minor annoyance. It looked like they were in the process of a remodel/upgrade (particularly in the bathroom) but aside from there being no anti-slip stuff in the shower, it wasn't much of a hindrance. The breakfast was okay. But the biggest issue wasn't really the hotel or its staff - it was other patrons. We were near the end of the row of rooms and the people in the room beside us were tucked into a corner so they didn't have their own set of chairs along the walkway/rail outside their room... so they decided to use the chairs outside OUR room and they were loud despite it being late at night.
The location was ideal for our purposes and the price as well.
