There was nothing exactly "I did not like" about my stay; however, I would like to make couple suggestions to help future clients' experience. Google maps was a bit off from the outer road to the location, about 500 meters. Having an illuminated sign indicating the 'Auberge Couleurs de France" would be helpful especially when arriving at night. Having available brochures of activities, amenities' locations, menus etc would be helpful. it is not easy to find things to do around the area. I could not find garbage bins on the outside of my room (at least not visible). Having a dog this can be a bit inconvenience since you need to carry their waste to your room? Prepare maps of the hiking areas, beaches in in the area. As a first-time visitor, I could not find it any in my map, and the one at reception was the only one and could not take it. though I took pictures of it, the original map was not clear

We liked the place, very comfortable, clean and very receptive/accommodating staff. Facilities available match what was promoted online. Having our pup with us was extra especial and the local dog was very playful and gentle with my pup, also very obedient. The staff was very accommodating on the first night as our arrival was late, they still manage to serve us delicious food at our door :) Access to the lake/ canoes, and hot tub was great, no extra charge... BONUS! Registration/ check-in the easiest I had ever Restaurant was amazing! the atmosphere, the decoration; very cozy. We really enjoyed every single meal I ate. finally the view.. Oh! what a view..

small uncomfortable bed very expensive dinner very few vegetarian options for breakfast would have preferred real juice not bottled concentrate . As well as a real basket of baguette bread no matter what.

Location is exceptional. Staff is super friendly. Auberge offers everything you need to have a restful getaway - jacuzzi, sauna, a beautiful lake to swim in, bbq, boats and peddle boats to discover the surroundings. We will definitely come back.

Some single beds were not very comfortable. Mattresses can be more comfortable.

The location is fantastic. Great facilities. Warm water and free kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. Jacuzzi and sauna is a bonus.

No A/C in room and could not open the patio door because the mosquito screen was broken. There was only 1 real bed, the other one was a futon-like bed. No separate shower in bathroom. The bathroom wasn't completely closed. The BBQs were not inviting to use The wifi only worked once

The Wifi connection was not working well. The TV in the room was way too small and VERY outdated. No A/C in the room. Supper was too expensive (more options with smaller quantity - cheaper - would be great).

The location is amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is a very relaxed, positive and laid back vibration all over. There is a VERY positive attitude towards dogs by staff AND guests, which was incredible.

As a constructive comment, it would be good to provide a site map indicating the amenities locations and rooms locations as well, I was lost at my first try to find my room but mostly due to language barrier, a map would facilitate. Also I had to borrow utensils from the restaurant, they could be provided without asking, no big deal anyways.

They provide kayaks, paddle boards and canoes which allows you to fully enjoy the lake. Very good.

No air conditioning in the room and the window did not open so there was no airflow. The stairs on the outside to the room were not stable. The bathroom sink fixture needs to be tightened as well as the toilet.

Access to the lake and to kayaks and canoes. The location is amazing right on little lake preston. The bed was comfortable. Dinner was very good and needed as the closest restaurant that was open Tuesday night was 20kms away.

Beds could have been more comfy, no housekeeping, had to ask for coffee etc. refills. Closest grocery is 20 min. drive. A small convenience shop could be helpful on site.

Location is excellent. Beautiful scenery, lake access, in the middle of the forest. Great for nature lovers and families. Ample boats, kayaks to enjoy the lake. Good for relaxing or for an active vacation. Good warm water and shower pressure 😊.

The wall between the bathroom and bedroom does not reach the ceiling, so is partially open. Would have preferred closed bathroom.

The comfortable bed, understated decorating, beautiful log cabin, wonderful sweet staff, amazing surroundings, unique placement of hotel, having breakfast outside..
