Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaIt would be nice if there was a ramp over a section of the outside front stairs to roll my suitcase up or down. There are only a few stairs though so it wasn’t a problem. As others have mentioned the decor could use refreshing BUT for the price the hotel was great and very clean and fresh.
Good location for my trip. I enjoyed having a swim and then a little time on the rooftop deck. The friendly reception offered me a choice of having a lower or upper floor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I’m hard to please! Everything was very clean. No scented cleaning products - also appreciated! The room was quiet - and the a/c was super powerful. Breakfast provided a solid start for the day.

New ZealandThought the breakfast could be improved. Prefer to shell my own eggs. No croissant even though you are in Montreal. Cereals are more for kids than what adults eat. No breakfast cut up fruit to go with cereals. There were grapes but two days without them. Lovely place to stay. Nice big apartment and was able to cook a few nights. Two metro stations close by. Also supermarket.

On a five week automobile trip, this was one of the best breakfasts. The coffee was almost good. The climate control unit did not work and could not be fixed, but the weather was nice, and the room was not hot nor cold. Parking was not expensive for such a location. The EV charger was much appreciated. Staff are bilingual. One disagreeable woman always ignored the ringing telephone. All other staff I saw answered it promptly.

CanadaWe had to pay extra for the garage (we were aware of this, I'm just saying, hehe). The breakfast was OK but it could be better (no breakfast sausages, no bacon, no scrambled eggs). The room has a balcony, I didn't like the railings (rusty and old). :(
Excellent location, comfortable room (with a kitchenette and a balcony), we loved the swimming pool. Nice terrace! The staff was very helpful and friendly.
