Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThe customer service of the staff, 1 in particular not welcoming and talking rudely when we ask for commercial gesture after we encounter some problem. The pool and gym were closed however we have not been told at booking time. The reason we chose this hotel is because of the pool. We appreciate another pool in another hotel was arranged however after going there this other pool was full. We therefore ask for a gesture and this staff had rude attitude with me and my husband even though we stayed polite. We called the director who was very professional and did a gesture for us. I would advise if some problems take place to discuss directly with the director whom we thanks for his professionalism. Unfortunate this staff lack of training on how to handle complains.

CanadaThe price was comparable to other hotels in Montreal, but was still much too expensive. The elevator was not working (or heavily over subscribed?) for a really long time one of the mornings we were there and it was hard to find the way to the bottom floor using the stairs.
Beds were super comfortable. Better than most places that I have stayed. Parking was very easy to access and we could park in front of hotel to unload. Close to the Metro (Place-des-armes) so we could get anywhere. It was very convenient to have a kitchenette.

CanadaWashroom had a pedestal sink in our studio room, so it had limited counter space. Exercise room was basic and lacked a TV.
Great location. Kitchen was stocked with full kitchenware, stove, microwave and fridge. Continental breakfast was basic but very good, boiled eggs, cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit and two types of coffee. Excercise room open 24 hours, good sized hotel pool.

United StatesIt's a bit pricey honestly. It's an older hotel. Still has pay per view TV and cable TV options only. Parking is across the street and an additional $25. Once you pay all the taxes and fees your expected cost is far exceeded.
