Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is so beautiful, and the pool is great, with views of the ocean. The air conditioner in our room was a brand new heat pump, which we loved.

United KingdomGot to rate at the bottom of the list in terms of value for money Seems like 5 star price for 2star quality but we would not have submitted a poor review if it hadn’t been for arrogance and contempt shown by front desk staff which put a sour note on our whole stay.
Marcy from housekeeping was super friendly and efficient almost like she was trying to compensate for her colleagues in reception.

United StatesKey to door was also for A.C., to leave ment no A.C. no cover outside, all appliances and faucets are rusted, had ants in our food on day 2, bathroom door had no knob...lol, only 2 of utensils, n dishware, charge same price as the nicer places, had to leave...no refund..only a voucher for nights we paid for but didn't stay for...might be voucher to the same place we didn't like...no beach at all, built a sea wall instead.

United StatesI wouldn’t say I disliked anything, but get the rooms with AC if you run hot. There are some rooms with without AC, but they have fans.
The location is gorgeous. There’s a pier with stairs that lets you into the water. The grounds are gorgeous and you see lizards sunbathing. The staff was excellent. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the groundskeepers, they all made our stay wonderful. The staff even cut open coconuts so we could have the water and fruit inside. We will stay here again. Thank you, Natalie, Marcie, Nayeli, Jarod, and Verano for all your hard work.
