You would ideally need a car to stay here as a few miles out from Orange Walk. It was very warm and although you were on a lake you could not go in it due to the crocs. After a day sightseeing it would be good to have a refreshing dip.

The location on the lake is excellent. You can see crocodiles from your room. If you are doing a Lamanai river boat tour they will come and pick you up from the hotel jetty on the lake. The Deck, although a separate restaurant (you could not bill back to your room) it was right next door and offered excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good prices for the location.

Bathroom a bit small

We loved the deck and view of the pretty lagoon from our room . We also enjoyed the patio area for Drinks and breakfast

I thought the bathrooms could use an upgrade. They are small especially the showers. Showers could have doors so as not to get water all over the floor.

The location was great for where the event was that brought us to town. Nice quiet place with the lake right there.

Had some minor issues, but nothing that isn’t common when traveling in Belize. Limited hot water, older mattresses that aren’t the most comfortable.

Quiet, out of the way and peaceful. Beautiful setting overlooking the water. Staff was amazing.

Not as clean as we expected, dirty balcony, bathroom sub-par for the price of the room, noisy considering main Northern Highway is right in front of the hotel

Lack of signage as to where is the entrance, parking, reception desk etc. A bit overpriced.

Nice clean hotel close to the road (or river) for you to go and visit Lamanai temple. Restaurant serving good food.

The sinks could have been cleaner (hair and what looked like small animal poop - but I guess it’s in the nature so animals will get everywhere) but that was an easy fix for us

Had a nice stay there to get to the Lamanai ruins the next day (which took another two hours since the roads aren’t good, don’t listen to google. Locals with jeeps etc drive faster...) The staff was very friendly all the time! We had dinner in their restaurant right at the lake which was nice. Especially when we wanted to leave and the car didn’t start one of the staff (I’m sorry, I forgot her name) helped us with the problem connecting the battery which saved us a lot of time and trouble, thank you!!!

They didn't have cable tv as advertised. They had a fire stick so take your Netflix password. Balcony only had 1 chair. Security door chain was broken. Biggest issue was the restaurant. Poor service. No printed dinner menu; had to have smart phone to see the menu. Ordered chips & salsa. Salsa was ketchup with some chopped onions & tomatoes in it.

Large room with AC. Balcony over the lagoon was nice view. Fairly quiet.

Highway is close and you can hear the noise. No swimming possible - alligators visit the lagoon :) - not sure if it is minus actually. The place had an empty look - they still did not recover from Covid drop in tourism yet.

Clean room overlooking little river lagoon. Everything was working - shower, toilet, clean towels.The restaurant was good food and service was good too.

Nice resort at lake site with spacious rooms with lake view and terrace. Nice open air restaurant. Friendly staff. Good for excursions to Lamanai, the boat picks you up at the hotel. Just be aware that there is nothing else around, the hotel is 6km from Orange Walk Town. Nice to stay there for one night

The dinner was amazing and reasonably priced. The view in the early morning and late night was breathtaking.... and the staff.... superb.... the very best service I have had throughout my travels.

There was no cable

The staff was amazing. We didnt know what to expect when we first booked but, we were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and helpful everyone at the hotel was. Do not expect a truly four-star experience but it is a decent hotel at a reasonable price in a good location.

Seriously under-signed. No sign on the highway. No sign on the driveway. No sign where to park. No sign where to check in. . . . I'm astonished we found the place. Glad we had two beds. The spring mattresses communicated every jostle. And the coils bit my hips.

The food choice is very limited (dinner and breakfast) and you are quite isolated from Orange Walk. The building had water issue for almost a full day, pretty harsh in 100+ degree weather and high humidity.

Location to visit Lamanai Maya temple. The view from the bedroom on the lake is very nice.
