Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesIf you're going for a beach holiday, it's perfect. If you're going to see Rio sites, it adds 5-20 minutes to your travel time to get out of Copacabana. So, depending on the amount of time you have. Not the best walking-distance restaurants ...
Breakfast is good. Pool is nice, but can get quite windy up there. Great staff.

GermanyMinor improvements needed: It would be amazing if they would install big bottles of shampoo and conditioner, shower gels just like other hotels and maybe update the blow dryers to a better quality. The blow dryers are old and very slow.
I just love Miramar by Windsor Copacabana! This was my 3rd time here and the service, the employees, the breakfast, everything is 10/10 and never disappoints. Please if you're staying in Rio and want to enjoy Copacabana, just go for Miramar, because the value you get for your money will be the best there. Especially, the employees are always super kind, professional, supportive and always finding a solution to a question or problem. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. This is my fav go to hotel and I'll definitely return again.

South AfricaThe gym equipment could be upgraded. Room service menu paled terribly in comparison to the in restaurant menu with respect to quality and flavour. I feel this could be better. I ordered fish and it came with Risotto if I recall correctly. The fish was bland and entire dish just salty.
Close proximity to the beach. Really nice hotel with a 5 star feel. I loved that the doorman would open your door for you when your taxi arrived to collect you and when it would drop you off. Really Premium hotel feel. The use of free umbrellas chairs and towels for beach and someone there to take your drink and food orders at the beach. The hotel is also well maintained. Didn't have anything to complain about in terms of things looking old and dated. Staff were amazing and friendly right from arrival through to the day of departure we felt so welcome. Dinner at the restaurant was a lovely 5 star experience and menu absolutely delicious on the two nights we dined in. I also loved that there was champagne at breakfast every morning! I will definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again when I return for another visit.
