Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

HungaryThe shower head was my only dislike, those need updating a bit.
Having been to Rio many times, I love to stay where the locals are and Flamengo is the perfect place for that. Safe, great places to visit and close to everything. The hotel buffet breakfast is always great at a Windsor, and then the set menu or buffet for the evening is also really good! And on top of that, the staff are always so friendly and helpful!

BrazilRooms are noisy. Events on the 10th floor were heard from our room. What really disappointed me was the air conditioning - it does not allow for fine grained climate control despite having a climate dial, and it was extremely noisy. I sleep with earplugs, but could hear the air conditioning rumbling around. Car reservations are not made, parking works according to a first come first serve principle.
Stayed in room 904, very spacey, very clean. Big bathroom. Service is excellent and tips are welcomed but not always expected. Jorge made some top caipirinhas in the bar on the 10th floor. Breakfast is truly excellent. Localization is great, good access to Flamengo, Catete, Laranjeiras, the park and of course the beach.

Great location - most sights worth seeing weren't too far from the hotel (e.g. Sugarloaf Mountain was 15 minutes by Uber). Plus, the breakfast was among the best I've had in South America, staff were accommodating and a great beach is just a couple of streets away.

BrazilBathtub hidro was not working. The smoke alarm had two led lights that blinked and lighted up the room after we turned off all the lights and closed the windows. We had to create a make shift cover with some band aids and cotton.
Superb location. Staff was excellent. Good amenities. The windows are soundproof, however it’s such a busy street that the noise eventually is heard when it is too loud. I’m a light sleeper, but luckily it didn’t affect me much. Breakfast is really great, tons of options, I loved the croissants, but the bacon was too dry.

RussiaI was surprised how unfriendly the personnel was. Upon arrival nobody helped us with the luggage even though there were several hotel porters next to entrance. At reception same, stone face, they didn’t explain us anything about hotel (breakfast, WiFi, pool, any other services), just gave room keys and that’s it. In restaurant none of the employees said good morning/hello even when we greeted them. That was really weird knowing how friendly people in Brazil are.
Great location, 2 min walking to metro station, a lot of businesses around that work till late, safe area. Close to city center and touristic attractions. Hotel was in general very good, room looked a bit older to what is shown in photos but very clean and comfortable. Cleaning service changed towels and bed linen every day, which was great. Breakfast was wonderful, buffet style with a lot of options, everything was very tasty.

United KingdomNot the property’s fault but for some reason the powers that be closed the metro stop right next to the hotel for carnival. Which meant we had to unexpectedly walk from the next one, which late at night was pretty dicey and we nearly got robbed. The pool had a lovely view jn the roof but was not really big enough for the number of people wanting to use it.
For Carnival is was a great location for many of the blocos that start in Flamengo area. It was exactly what you would expect. We had a disabled room (not needed) but it was larger than the standard rooms our friends had. So not much weave in a basic. But bed very comfy.

There is also a pool with bar.Great for relaxing in the evening.

Spainit is a large hotel and in some rooms the noise is inevitable. Try to avoid 9th floor, busy for swimingpool and roof top (10th floor)and also elevator area.
well located close to main action of the city. Excellent service to support access to uber/taxi friendly and supportive for all demands. good size rooms; complete breakfast, specially liked the choices of fruits, missing a bit a better coffee.
