Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We liked everything about this hotel. The room had a huge bed and nice shower. The rooftop bar/pool had great views of copacabana beach. The hotel was well run with very helpful and polite staff. They even helped me to organise a surprise cake for my partner’s birthday (Thanks again!) 100% recommend this hotel.

ItalyStandard rooms are very dark but we didn’t mind so much - you can see Copa and Christ The Redemeer from the rooftop. Less amenities vs other 4 stars (no slippers, no shower gel - just soap and shampoo)
Thanks to the lovely staff, esp reception desk (all of them). It was a pleasure staying there. The hotel is great. Rooftop view is breathtaking.

TurkeySince it is close to the street, there is noise, although not much. However, the sound of the air conditioner motor, the sound of the mini fridge in the room and the sound of the shower water in other rooms are disturbing.
Breakfast is excellent, location is great, price is good, cleaning is very good, staff is professional and respectful.

United KingdomWe stayed for 5 days but the hotel only provides 1 complimentary bottle of water on the first day. Very surprising, never seen this before in a luxury hotel in a hot country. Hotel doesn't offer airport transfer, the alternative is to get a Uber (safer than regular taxi from GIG).
Room was spacious and comfortable with good wifi. Safe in the room to keep your valuables. Very good location opposite copacabana beach.

United StatesI'd avoid ordering drinks and food at the rooftop bar. Drinks are not good (how come in Rio this hotel cannot even make a proper caipirinha!), and the price is outrageous for the quality. Go to any kiosk on the beach and you will get much better drinks and even bites for a fraction of the price.
The location is excellent, in front of the Copacabana beach. It has several restaurants around (not top ones, but OK). The breakfast is very good. The swimming pool is small (no laps :-( ), but a good size and on the rooftop. Small but nice gym.
