They were re surfacing the road outside our room so it was really noisy for 2 nights (but not the hotels fault)

Great location, close to the beach. Friendly staff always willing to help. Nice space, comfortable beds. The whole hotel looked pretty clean and smelled good. Excellent breakfast. We had a great stay.

The hotel is located very conveniently, near Copacabana Beach, a 15-minute walk to Ipanema Beach. Nearby are restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly. The room is clean and spacious. There is a steam sauna and a warm water pool on the top floor.

The check in was rough. Their computers were down and it took them about 10 to 15 minutes per person to check people in. I was the 5th person in line, so I waited about an hour once I arrived.

Location, size of room and cleanliness in the room were all top notch. Looks like they took pride in cleaning.

i don't like that you can only pay with credit card (not debit card!), that you cannot have an option with partial cash on arrival. i don't like that you cannot have the option "do not disturb" and everyday the cleaning staff changes your towels etc - it is not needed. please have a "do not disturb" option. i don't like the fixed showers - but i think this is the rule in Rio :(

The service from top to bottom was exceptional. The included breakfast was a great start to the morning. The staff upon check-in was great. Even though we arrived early, Pablo did his best to get us in a room. When there was nothing available, he assured us we would have something soon and was patient with us as we stored our bags and changed clothes. Throughout the stay the staff was very friendly, from room staff to dining staff. The pool was awesome and never crowded because everyone was at the beach. Mirna Adijoam Edivaldo Selma was always a joy to see in the dining room. Sillas and Marcus in the front staff were very helpful as well. All in all, it's a very nice hotel.

The hotel is quite dated inside and rooms need renovating. In my second room, there was a.small crevice in the wall between the air conditioning unit and the wall and so mosquitos could enter even if the window is shut. In my reservation I had booked a "landmark view". In the end this turned out to be only a view of the street rather than a view of a particular Rio landmark as I had envisioned. When enquiring for a better room on a higher floor, I was told it wasn't possible. You have to leave your key every time you leave and ask for it again as you come in which feels a bit like you're being controlled.

All the staff were very pleasant at the hotel. The location is great and a 5 min walk to the seafront. The hotel also offers free access to the Smartfit gym across the road which I liked and thought was an added perk. The hotel also offers several tours round Rio and nearby destinations at a good price

Air con was noisy. Maybe a refurb needed on the room. No netflix on the telly.

Location was great. We got early check-in for 60 euro which includes breakfast so well worth it as we arrived at 08.00. Breakfast was good with hot and cold food. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. We organised a full day tour through the reception and it was very good. Close to shops and bars and restaurants and the beach, we enjoyed our stay here and felt the hotel and area was safe for tourists.

Pool was very small. The water was warmer than the air (so very very hot!). only one escalator worked when we were there so we had to wait a lot for our floor (14th).

Everything is very outdated but still functions okay. The air conditioning is very noisy and if you’re a light sleeper you’ll definitely hear it throughout the night. Not much room in the breakfast hall, can barely walk around and there’s no space for that many people, however they try to manage it at the reception by making you choose the time you wanna go. They also tried to make us pay quite a big amount when checking out, saying it’s for the mini bar, even though we only had one bottle of water, not sure if it’s a confusion or anything else but watch our for that. FYI there’s so many airbnbs in the area which probably would be a better idea :)

great location in the middle of Copacabana, 3 minutes away from the beach and there’s also a huge grocery store across the road, yet the room itself is quiet and you don’t hear any traffic from the outside which is a huge plus. Loads of cafes in the area to grab a coffee and something to eat. Very good shower! Super friendly and helpful staff. Daily room service. Breakfast was ok, not much choice nor room to sit/walk around but has the basics. Room is very outdated like from the 90’s or something but then again has everything you might need and it’s spacious — it’s a very good price comparing to similar type of hotels in the area.
