The hotel rooms are clean and functional, but could use a design update

Great location in the centre of Manaus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast with a lot of local specialties.

The room is a little bit tired and the safe box was not functioning. Still an excellent place. We moved here from Saint Paul nearby, and this one is so much better.

The rooms had a vintage style, which was nice. But without a view.

The staff was super friendly, the location is near the theater, so it's perfect (safe to walk at night). The breakfast and the buffet available until 8 pm was delicious and suitable for vegetarians.

My room did not have a window, which was only a problem when the electricity was cut off a few times (no light etc). The electricity and the wifi were a bit temperamental. Don't count on the wifi if you have to work!

Location was fantastic, just around the corner from the teatro. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was really nice. Really good value for money.

Breakfast was excellent. Large variety of pastries, fruits, and Brazilian specialties to choose from. Location was perfect. Very close to theater and many restaurants and handicraft shops. Hotel has popular restaurant and friendly English-speaking staff.

The only thing is that on the weekends they have sometimes events like birthday celebrations from people outside the hotel at the breakfast buffet, which means that it can be quite a cheerful crowd... I am not a morning person so it was sometimes a bit annoying but at least I was awake then 😁 However, buffet was always with plenty of food, no matter how many people there were.

Very nice hotel with a very, very good value for money! The staff members are all incredibly nice and helpful! Location could not be better, just around the corner of the amazon theater. Breakfast is stunning! Will defenity come back!

Quite dated, no wardrobe

I checked in early so the bathroom was a little bare and maybe hadn’t been readied completely. But good enough for me. Towels and sheets were fresh and clean

The staff, all of them were so kind and helpful. The room was a good size with a smart TV and the bathroom shower etc was okay too. The hotel looks great from the outside and has a nice happy vibe. The breakfast was superbbbbb and very generous.

Got to Manaus and plans completely fell through. Wendell made some calls on my behalf and salvaged my trip! Obrigado! Ended up booking extra nights just because staff was exceptional! Will stay again! Fantastic food!

Some rooms are more cozy than others, and I had one that was not so cozy and with no view. I had asked for a quiet room though and this one was probably more quiet than the rooms facing the street (not a main street anyway).

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, excellent buffet breakfast. The really great thing about this hotel was the location just a few minutes by walking from the main square and the Teatro Amazonas.

Okay, the showers could have been a bit better..... but don't let that put you off.

Traditional hotel in great location, near the Opera House. Staff were wonderful. Excellent breakfast. Large rooms. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Due to its location and the fact that it's a historical building, noise isolation is unfortunately poor... one can hear absolutely everything that happens outside in rooms that face the street making it very hard to sleep. The internal rooms are quieter, but their windows are internal, therefore they open to the hotel corridor.

Amazing breakfast with so many options to choose from - one of the best I have ever had! Same is valid for the traditional afternoon tea - simply delicious and very popular with the locals! The location is also great very close to Teatro Amazonas and other attractions in the city center incl. the port area that can be easily reached on foot. Staff was always friendly and tried to help and solve the issues.
