We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustriaThe breakfast was very good. Maybe it could have been a little more varied. But that is whining on a high level :) Since I was traveling by kite board and boat (downwinder Cumbuco to Atins) my mother booked my room at very short notice (one hour in advance). It was difficult for me to find the hotel, but it was worth the search. I liked it a lot, even if I felt a little lonely because I was the only guest at times. The hotel staff was very helpful and organized the transfer to the airport for me.

United States of AmericaThey asked for a 50% deposit a couple weeks after booking here. They wanted it by bank transfer to their bank account. We worked through this with the hotel. Getting to a Atins is an adventure in off-roading through sand dunes, but is worth it.
Very beautiful and right on the beach. the room we had walked right out onto amazing view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The location is amazing - by the river, the boat can go very close to the hotel . Walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. The view of the river is amazing There are hammocks in the common area where we can relax Patricia and Daiane at the reception are super kind The guys in the restaurant in the afternoon/evening are also super kind The restaurant has super nice food for dinner - not too many options but the ones we tried were amazing, specially the dessert. Rooms have air conditioning

We loved everything about our stay at Santa Maria. My favourite place we stayed whilst travelling for 6 weeks. They kindly offered us v impressive room, the decor in the relaxing areas was so calming. We instantly felt at home thanks to kind, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous breakfasts and the most relaxing and tranquil location. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. In particular to Leo who went above and beyond to help.

SwitzerlandCommunication with service providers (i.e., transport, tour operators, etc.) is an issue. It could be greatly improved from the providers themselves and the hotel could smoothen the interaction to create a better impression of the place.
The view from anywhere in the Pousada was breathtaking. The attention paid by every single employee to details made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. When on vacation, one simply wants to relax and be free from problems. They knew very well how to handle that. Thank you to the entire Team at Santa Maria.

Location is great, staff is super polite and helped us book restaurants, transportation and day trips. The hotel has a rustic feeling but is very comfortable, clean and well decorated. It has a beautiful view of the river. you can watch the sun rise and set from the deck and at night you can have a drink and glaze at the stars. It is walking distance from restaurants, beach and kitesurfing classes. A simple but different and fun experience we had was to cross the river in a boat to the Praia Brasilia. There is a little restaurant there that has the best caipirinhas, best sunset views and you can enjoy all the beautiful colorful kite surfers practicing their skills while you swing on hammocks.

NetherlandsSanta Maria have seen better days. Was probably a really cool place to stay few years back. Now unfortunately what you get is a half destroyed backyard (taken by the sea), my room was one of the most expensive, beachfront, you pay a 5 stars European hotel price, for an old cabin, with really dirty toilet and they put an disgusting oil over the wooden floor, terrible, there was mold all over the place. The staff was friendly, but owners were not investing much of the high price back to the place maintenance.

Santa Maria was by far the most beautiful hotel we stayed in, in Brazil. Our rooms was incredible right in front of the water. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff! I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They were so nice and so helpful and spoke english which is a bit rare in Atins. They were so quick to respond when we messaged them with questions or anytime we needed help with something. They get booked out quickly because of their amazing location so you have to act quick. We weren't able to stay there for our entire stay because they didn't have rooms available. The hotel is right on the beach so location is incredible. I really can't say enough good things about Santa Maria. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so special.
