We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

GermanyWhen we arrived our room was dirty with different type of hair on the bed...it was not cleaned and after arriving of a 15h flight all we needed was rest. Don't book the rooms with balcony if you don't know in advance which one you get. One of the rooms is badly designed and very sound sensitive, you can hear the street and the a/c generators working all night. The management did a bad job, all they did was to offer us to change the room THE NEXT DAY. That's it. I requested a compensation and they were not interested and told us to contact booking as they "could not do anything." I do travel often to Rio so if you're reading this: Don't book this hotel if you value comfort, if it's for short stay and you don't mind spending a fair amount of money which you e.g. Could invest in another hotel 1st row, then go for it.
It is well located in 2nd row of the Copacabana. Most of the staff is very friendly and supportive. The room with the balcony is very tiny but with a big balcony. The hotel has a very kind employee at the entrance, he is half iraqi half brazilian, management should promote and keep him! He is an absolut lovely person and the only competent one!

AustraliaThe bed was comfortable but is due to be replaced as sinks in when sat on. Our room was cleaned each day as in bed made but they did not clean the sink or around it or wash the glasses. When I moved everything from the sink and put the glasses in the sink then it got done

GermanyIt is a bit odd not to have a real bathroom. Sink is in the room, toilet and shower are separate but not fully closed off. Coffee in the room is not complimentary, nor is water (not even one bottle), which is a bit unusual (feels like the next step would be to charge in addition for the sugar that you use…)
Great location one block away from the craziness of Copacabana. Very friendly staff at reception (Leticia, thank you!) and in the restaurant (Mesias and colleagues). Clean, comfy.

ItalyThe swimming pool is tiny, just a bathtub to get in and cool down when it's too hot. The terrace upstairs closes in the evening so people can't even go up to relax or for a beer at night. Breakfast is quite limited and not really tasty.
The executive bedroom was quite nice with a corner view of the beach. Comfortable beds. The street outside the hotel is not that great, but overall in a good position if you take an Uber. Soundproofing could be improved. The staff was polite and helpful.

ItalyThe fact that it was not possible to check in until 2 pm. Generally in hotels, even if the check in is at a certain time, is possible to check in a little earlier.. this wasn’t the case even if I arrived at 7 am and asked if it was possible.

The view to the morning mountains was amazing, the restaurant view as well. I enjoyed my stay here.

IrelandNo soundproofing in the room. We could hear all noises from outside. In the executive room, there was an area behind the sink which was like a window that had been painted black but let through ALL sounds especially the loud trash collections 3-4 times during the night, ranging from 20 minutes-55 minutes of non-stop noise. I know the hotel cannot control external noise but there may has well have been an open hole - more sound proofing needed.
Very clean, good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. A small hotel so not overly busy at breakfast time.

Location. Location. Location. Very short walk to the beach and only a 20 minute walk to the lagoon and Ipanema. Views at the pool and breakfast were amazing. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
