Lovely little oasis in busy surroundings of Abraão. Gerard and staff are most helpful. Room is comfy. Breakfast is great! Loved it!

You have to cross a little stream going into the sea if coming from the main port so this means you have to take your shoes off to get there. There is a long way round to avoid this. This is obviously common to all accommodation on that part of the beach so nothing the guys can do about it.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. WiFi was really strong and consistent. Gerard who runs the place is very nice and has a lovely manner. The staff gave me breakfast early as requested for me to catch an early boat.

The proprietor Gerard and the staff at Manaca were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great, right on Abraao beach and up the quiet end next to a fantastic restaurant Lua e Mar (try the moqueca). Well worth going for the sea view room; from which you can hear the ocean lap against the shore and look all the way across the bay to the luscious mainland. Breakfast is brilliant, there is lots on offer but particular praise goes to the special house juice and fruit salad!

Getting there from the boat is a bit tough with a case as access is via the beach only. Totally worth the effort though!

Great beach front location with beautiful views at breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful, explained every item on the breakfast menu as it was all in Portuguese and we couldn't read it. Breakfast varied and tasty, the best we had in Brazil. Gerard the owner is fantastic, speaks multiple languages and is full of helpful tips and stories..

Nothing! Pousada Manaca far exceeded our expectations.

The location is incredible - directly on the beach but a short walk down from the dock so it isn't loud. The pousada itself is immaculate and the staff is absolutely lovely (thank you Gerard and Bianca in particular for being so kind to us!). The breakfast was delicious as well - made to order with a number of options. We stayed in one of the rooms with a sea view and it truly felt like waking up in paradise every morning. The AC worked very well and the wifi worked better than I had anticipated. We were also told that if they appear fully booked online it's worth reaching out directly via email - sometimes they may have additional availability. Overall, I can't recommend Pousada Manaca enough! If you're visiting Ilha Grande it is truly a perfect option.

A beautiful, clean, homely place that is right in front of the beach and very accessible from the center. It has the best staff that genuinely care. The rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is also something to look forward to every day.

It was simply lovely staying at Manaca! Breakfast with fresh fruits and juice, watching sea in front of me. Perfume of flowers of Damas da Noite trees at night. Birds singing in the mornings. Sound of the sea waves. Gerard helpfull and nice to guests
