Loved the aesthetic of the pousada! Short walk from the pier and easy to find. Priscilla was fantastic and helped us with all our questions and booked tours for us. Lovely room with a small balcony and some ocean views. Lots of options for breakfast

Priscilla at the hotel was brilliant. She spoke excellent English and arranged through taxi transfer from Rio and then onto Paraty. Extremely helpful with the confusing ferry options to and from the mainland too. Outstanding.

We had the perfect stay - from the initial welcome and smiles to the checkout, we couldn't fault the staff. Pousada Casablanca is family-run and we were made to feel welcome and looked after. Our room was cleaned each day and staff was always available to help with any queries. Breakfasts were very good and the cake in the afternoon was a nice touch. Can't praise highly enough.

I really loved my stay at Pousada Casablanca. It is a beautiful airy building, in a quiet side street from the main (and only) drag of Vila do Abrao. Staff was super nice and friendly and made sure everything went well with good communication even before the arrival. I got a room upgrade and had a nice double room with balcony. Breakfast is served on the terrace and really nice with fresh smoothies and omelette or tapioca. The Pousada is very quiet and I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful house, good facilities. Staff were all excellent a special thank you to Priscilla who was always there with a smile to sort things out for us. Location was ideal near the port but not right on the seafront so quiet at night.

This place is more than just a guesthouse, the staff there treat you like a friend who is staying over in their home, thank you Priscilla and Isabella for everything! The room was very well equipped including a fan and an aircon, it was pleasant to come back to after a day in the heat. Nice, modern bathroom facilities. Everything was kept really clean throughout our stay, but sustainably so which we also appreciated. Breakfast is healthy, delicious and unlike other places varies daily. Couldn't recommend this place more!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pricilla and her staff were wonderful and so helpful. Pricilla greeted us in English and was able to answer all of our questions in English. We ended up staying an extra night and this was accommodated with ease. The pousada had a great location very close to the pier but also secluded. Even though there was air conditioning in the room, we didn’t need it, the room was lovely and cool without it. The breakfast was fabulous and the complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon was much appreciated and delicious. Would highly recommend for a lovely stay on Ilha Grande.

Small bed. Due to the central location, you can hear the small business owners and clients around the Pousada. Luckily at bedtime, it's all quiet.

Room a bit small. Air conditioning requires some cleaning, it looked like having mold inside

Location in the center of abraão (just a little hidden from the sea). Very nice breakfast and nice staff that prepared something gluten free (tapioca) for me. They helped to arrange the transfer to the island (even though awful company for the transfer)
