You can tell that the hotel is a little old, both in terms of its condition and its furnishings, but this is not a problem. I mentioned it just to fill this space. I definitely found many more positive things in this hotel than negative ones.

Excellent location, opposite Copacabana beach in a safe area. This location allows all tours (that offer the service) to come and pick you up directly at the hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly, they kept our bags safe for us before the check-in time. Next to the reception there is the sale of various essential products (drinks, snacks, cleaning) available 24 hours with automatic payment. The breakfast is very plentiful. The room's balcony was larger than I expected, with a view of the beach.

The sheets on the bed came off every night and left a bare mattress under us, although unfitted sheets may be a general thing of Brazil. The breads at the breakfast could have been fresher.

The location is great--very close to Copacabana Beach and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as possible.

Room on the small side, very noisy air conditioning, need to put card on the door asking for room cleaning, frayed and stained bedsheets and towels, old two-pin sockets, staff would not change bedroom for my old brother and sister, staff thought it was OK for them to share a double bed (appalling!) eben though separate beds were asked for in the booking

The location is fab, one block from the beach, a small but decent pool and jacuzzi on the roof terrace, staff sometimes flexible, although the hotel is old, most things work in the room (including a very old fridge), breakfast has decent choice of bread and other food, air conditioning, good shower, beach towels given

Bed sheets. I asked more sheets to put on top of mattress and it made a big improvement. Also I was going to the beach almost everyday and dragging sand in. Bed floor needed cleaning everyday.

The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and attentive. They all knew me by name and nothing I asked was too much.

i have paid a one night more for half day they have requiered +30% respect to the previusly nights when i was back to the hotel at 7pm the room was not cleaned no clean towel no bed prepred

I didn’t quite like how as you reached your floor, it was dark. Only had sensor light, so really couldn’t see anything as there was no natural lighting. Felt slight discomfort with the darkness.

The hotel was conveniently located and the breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are old (furniture, lights). Old hard beds. Air conditioning didn't work well. The floor of the apartment and the bathroom were not cleaned during the 4 days, even though I asked for them to be cleaned.

A spectacular location. Just a few steps from Copacabana beach. Simple but tasty breakfast.

The rooms were not great. They pushed two twins together to make a full size. The covers also had a smell to them. The toilet also leaked when you flushed it.

4 nights booked, first room, no hot water for first day, 1 day to replenish toilet paper after asked twice, no air con, TV broken, took 3 days to say we will move rooms which disturbed our plans for the day, and then second room toilet overflowed as water all over the hotel has the water pressure of a fireman’s hose! Air con worked but sounded like constant drilling, and got bites in the second room, it was one night so unknown if bed bugs but not mosquito bites and was when we reached the room.

The staff were of 5* quality and breakfast lady was very sweet!

When I read reviews I was very scared as I had to book room last minute. But from the entrance it smelled very nice, staff at reception were amazing and they helped on several occasions with tips and printing and they speak english. The room and bathroom were very clean and had enough space. Rooftop has an amazing view. Breakfast was ok. The location is perfect.

We had the worst experience, we paid a lot to spend Carnival, and the air conditioning didn't work, it was noisy, we didn't have cleaning in the room, the worst thing was the internet didn't work, it took two days to change rooms, to a worse one without air conditioning, the the air didn't freeze

The only thing I liked about the hotel was the location

BE WARNED I GOT BED BUGS HERE and the manager was super unhelpful, did not even offer a discount for the HUGE trouble- only changed our room. Nothing else. Did not even turn up when he said he would to discuss. DO NOT GO HERE!
