I really liked the atmosphere in the common area of the hostel. Gabi is a good host who tries to bring people together. She is also a great cook and we had nice self cooked dinners here. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. The owner is also a lovely woman who stopps by and liked to chat. If you know spanish or a little portugues then you can talk to the hosts. They don't really know english here.

Price was a bit expensive compared to other places and the kitchen usually closed a 10pm (fridge with water was then inaccessible by night).

Really enjoyed how kind and helpful Gaby (a girl that worked there) was, I didn’t speak a word in Portuguese and she helped me thought my trip advising me for activities, in the nature and in town. Thank you Gaby !

I was in the bottom bed and I had no space over my head, the AC was on all night and it was crazy cold no air exchange so I could barely breath and woke up all the time.

Central location, decent wifi, equipped kitchen, quiet area, helpful and friendly staff, lots of informations about the island. Guided tours if you're willing to pay the ridiculous money. VERY CLEAN!! Free drinkable water and hot shower :)

Some electrical extensions were missing to work more comfortably (I did remote work one day during my stay)

It was amazingly clean They had some stuff in the bath room to use in case you don't have (soap etc) The kitchen and pans were great for cooking The breakfast The borrowed me a towel for free

It is very cozy hostel with family like atmosphere. The host Sol is very helpful and she makes you feel like at home. I extended my stay from two days to a week.

The room was really small, it wasn’t a problem as the room was not full but I guess it could be an issue.

The facilities are clean and really enjoyable, especially the large terrace. The room and the bathroom were clean. Great location. Super nice owner.

good location, lovely breakfast and the most warmhearted hostel owner I‘ve ever met! Sol helped me in every situation, she knows about all the tours you can do and helps you with bookings and with whatever you need. Would highly recommend staying there and would always come back!!

Great location central to the town. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the owner who arranged transfers to/from the island and trips with discounts for us. Aircon was great, each room has en suite. kitchen area perfect for needs with fridge, freezer, oven and Hob. breakfast provided every morning and was great to start the day.

The staff is amazing, she (Sol) will help you with all, Sol will explain all you need to know and more, also Sol can help you with all tours around the island and/or with the time of the boats. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean. The location is very good because the hostel is quiet and close to the center (supermarket, beaches and boats to go to the Lopez Mendez or another place)

The main problems are: Area with a lot of mess on the side with a lot of mosquitoes Unfortunately, the Hostel has a lot of humidity which makes it difficult to dry clothes, mainly due to the lack of a clothesline. There's even a clothesline but it's on the ground with a lot of mess and construction material. Unfortunately, the hostel does not have flexibility regarding your eventual personal problems. If you've already paid it's gone. Never pay in advance!

Complicated to rate this hostel because it has some good things but there are several serious problems to be solved. The breakfast is good and the environment is clean too, but this hostel has a messy and dirty area on the side where the proliferation of mosquitoes is very large. This bothered me a lot. It's very complicated to sleep with mosquitoes biting you all night.
