This place is paradise, one of the most beautiful hotels and location I’ve ever had the chance to see. Felipe and Fernando were both amazing, very friendly and made our stay memorable - thank you so much! The staff at Atlantica are wonderful. Very kind and friendly people and willing to help with any request. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, nothing but the sounds of the ocean and rainforest. It is also only a short walk to Lopes Mendes beach so it is easy to arrive before any tour boats come and stay later so you can have the beach almost to yourself. The food at the restaurant was also exceptional. Simple and delicious but some of the best meals we had on our Brazil trip, compliments to the chef! It does take a little extra effort to reach the lodge as you need to coordinate an additional boat ride to get to the property but well worth it! We are very glad we stayed and a big thank you to Phillipe and the rest of the staff at Atlantica!

Everything was great - totally worth the money!

What an exceptional place. The whole area is very beautiful, and the lodge is situated in the midst of nature, being off-grid yet still offering all the comfort you would expect. At night, you only hear the waves and the crickets, and occasionally, some monkeys. At morning, you're greeted with marvellous views across the bay. Laying in the hammock and gazing upon the ridiculously beautiful bay (you can't stop staring at it) will stay in our memory forever. Glad we took so many pictures of it. The staff is incredibly nice, provide you with helpful tips and really make you feel special. They are also fluent in English. The food was very good. This is true for both the breakfast and the dinner (a la carte) - we tried several dishes and all were very good, well-made and you could taste that they were made with love. As a hobby chef I always feel like I'm quite demanding, but I was not disappointed. Totally recommend the place.

Extremely friendly staff, everyone we interacted with was super helpful and dedicated to excellence. It really feels like a 5 star hotel in the middle of the jungle. Access can be tricky but it is well worth it. Very exclusive location and experience, there were many times that it felt like we had an entire beach for ourselves.

Everything about the lodge was incredible. Definitely prepare for BUGS at night – once the sun went down I would put on long pants, long sleeves, and socks because they got so bad. The rooms were well sealed so this was only an issue outside. But this is no fault of the hotel, of course – just something to keep in mind and prepare for :)

This was truly such a special place! There were no other hotels around (and this one only has 4 rooms!) so you can really relax and just be. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, helping us to book transportation to and from Rio and pointing us in the right direction to discover various hiking trails and beaches. It was nice to feel like we were eating homecooked meals while we were there, too. Despite being quite "off the grid," the AC ran at night and we had plenty of hot water.

Before the stay, Rodolfo was very helpful arranging a transfer from our hotel in Rio, which was seamless. He also explained everything on arrival and helped us to settle in. The staff (Conan, Thiago, Fernando) can’t do enough for you - extremely attentive. Lovely home-cooked food. Moqueca and fish in banana leaves were stand out. Paddle boarding, kayaks, beautiful beach. Extraordinary location - it was paradise.

This place is a paradise. Located on a beautiful peaceful beach (the only hotel in the area), 15-30 mins walk to Lopes Mendes, depending on your speed. The view from the hotel is unbelievable. Once boats that bring tourists to Lopes Mendes leave, guests stay alone with unspoiled nature and sounds of the jungle. In short 4.5 days, most of which we were unlucky with the weather and often stayed indoors, we met some playful monkeys, hungry squirrel, mating birds and heard myriads of jungle sounds. There are 2 other restaurants nearby where guests can have lunch, but dinner is possible only at the lodge. Good food and great cocktails! Special note and thanks to Rodolfo and his fantastic team. All of them made our stay so special. Always ready to help, friendly and also such interesting people to talk to.

Amazing location, great staff, excellent breakfast. The lodge is in a beautiful setting on a quiet part of the island, and overlooks a couple of very nice beaches (lopes mendes is also a short walk away). They’ve got kayaks you can use for free, and we had a fun morning kayaking round parts of the island - there’s no strong current so it felt very safe.

Unbelievable location, amazing service and friendly staff who were always going out of their way to ensure we had the best time. Nothing was too much effort. We especially loved having the use of paddle boards and kayaks on a lovely quiet bit of beach. Our room was spacious, private and comfortable, and had a spectacular view

We have been travelling across Brazil for the past 3 weeks and ended up staying 3 nights in Atlantica Jungle Lodge. Let me tell you this was the absolute best place we've been in this coutry. The location is just astonishing - you wake up to an incredible beach and fall asleep to the sound of waves and grasshoppers. You are also only 15 minutes away from Lopes Mendes, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. This allows you to stay until the sunset and be completely alone there since everyone else needs to catch a boat or walk ~2h to the nearest town. I can't put into words how beautiful and idyllic those moments are. The lodge itself is incredible too. There are only 4 rooms available (make sure you book in advance!). Staff is some of the most attentive we ever found. Felipe and the rest of the team are extremely kind and provided everything we needed to have an amazing stay. They felt almost like family. Rooms are very clean and surprisingly comfortable for a lodge in the middle of nowhere. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it. I can now say they are very fair given the whole experience they provide. I can't recommend enough this place!

Atlantica Lodge is a little slice of paradise! The staff, the location and the food is insane. The location is ideal for a short walk to the beautiful Lopes Mendez beach where you can see little monkeys en route before arriving at a huge stretch of unspoilt white sand. The staff go out of their way to help with anything you need and are super friendly and made the stay extra special. The hammocks outside your room have the perfect view and we would spend evening with a coffee on the beach watching the sun go down. Pure paradise and beautifully quiet. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!
