Lots of style and personality to the room, close to everything we wanted to see in the old town. A few blocks from the main drag with all the restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend.

Some facilities in bathroom were a little bit old and fragile.

The lady on the counter was extremely nice, and helping. Location is good, you have most of museums in the walking distance. Bed is quite comfortable, the room has good soundproofing. Everything is clean.

Only one thing, the mattresses in room 3 could do with an upgrade. I have two metal prosthesis and the dip in the mattress wasn't comfortable. I guess no-one has provided feedback previously, so hopefully this will help the hotel to improve this minor issue.

Dessi the receptionist is an asset to the organisation. She is very professional and goes out of her way for clients. Beautiful building, exceptionally clean, good facilities.

I cannot find a complain.

The people was very nice, they wait for me later than the last check-in time, they recommended me a nice place to have diner and have a walk and also they make it very easy to have a taxi to the airport. Room was quite big and price quality hard to improve. Location is very good near the Cathedral and very close to the main areas to go walking.

There was a faint odor from the bathroom; after all, it's an old house and the only ventilation is through the window. Otherwise, everything was clean and well maintained.

The hotel is very centrally located, walking distance to public transportation and some of the city's main attractions. I also liked that it was on a quiet street and my room was facing in the back which made it extra quiet. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful with advice on local restaurants and ordering a taxi, if needed.

A perfectly adequate stay over for a night or two if one is intent on being outside most of the time. Coffee and tea can be made but self catering is not possible. Aircon, beds, bathroom and WiFi are all good. Situated close to Alexander Nevsky and walking distance from Serdika metro. Basic foodshop across the street, but for meals one has to walk in the direction of the university which is not far from Nevsky.

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the most beautiful part of Sofia! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very courteous, professional and helpful. They went out of their way to accomodate a couple of special requests! This is our must stay hotel in Sofia! Very highly recommended!

I can’t say enough about Dessi, the front desk lady. we asked for recommendations - she gave us places that were delicious. She called the cable car company and gave us accurate details. Anything we needed, she went above and beyond. If you are looking for the Marriott, this is not for you. If you are looking for a solid place to stay - L’Opera House is a great place to stay. Hot water kettle in the room. Air worked great. Hot water in shower. Answered email quickly.

The fridge was very loud and I kept waking up because of the noise. Lots of noise from the neighbors when they were going up and down , would be great with more sound proof doors, but I guess it’s what is expected in an old building.

Nice room , even though in the attic. Great mattress and pillows. The receptionist was so nice, she waited an extra half an hour for my arrival and helped getting a taxi, nice and professional.

Simple but comfortable room. Good bed, good bathroom. Pretty central and close to bars and restaurants. No breakfast options but plenty of places to eat in the vicinity. Quiet enough despite central-ish location. We arrived outside reception hours, but having informed them of our (slightly) late arrival they stayed on. That said, getting in with the supplied codes looked like it would have been straightforward.
