The rooms have not been renovated I think since 9 years ago, when I was there last. They could use some upgrades.

The rooms are a little bit to smalls. The quality of the wine and of the beer is very poor. But, these are minor problems.

The position of the location is very good, on the beach of Albena. The report price/quality is good. Staff was friendly. The food was quite diverse. The local alcoholic drinks are ok. ( I mean rum, vodka and gin)

1. There is definitely something to be done to separate smoking area on the restaurant terasse from non-smoking area. A separation with a clear sign will help people with children to avoid the smoke of the cigattte. In fact, many of us would like to take the brakfast outside, but there are a lot of smokers. The manager we call said that she can not prohibit smoking on the restaurant terrace outside- but at least they can separate smoking/non smoking area. 2. Managing sun-chairs and umbrella on the beach could be improved a lot. In the beggining of the season, at 9-10 o'clock the people were not there on the beach, and there was not possible to understand which are the rules to get a sun-chair.

Food and drink diversity, kind staff, very nice appartment and quite, very good mastress, coffee in the room, view on the balcony, and we got exactly the appartment we have required while booking. We come to rest, and at Kaliakra we have conditions for doing so.

The staff was friendly and attentive to our every need. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with the stunning view of the beach and the resort. The food was delicious and varied and the restaurant had a great selection of dishes. We also enjoyed the variety of refreshing drinks.The amenities were top notch: from the free wi-fi and minibar to the mineral water pools and kids club. If you are looking for a beach hotel with outstanding animation team for both children and adults, the hotel is the perfect place for you. They made our vacation so much more spacial. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Not really possible to communicate with the staff from the restaurant who was taking care of dishes/tables. In the opened terasse on the resturant, althought there were children eating, some people were smoking, which I think is against any rule in the civilised world.

Food was diverse and drinks as well. We had an appartment at an upper level, thus we had an impressive view on the sea. No noise, no cigarette smoke from balconies next to us. Comfy beds. Pools were clean everyday. Receptionists, housekeeping ladies and 'captain' from the bar were smilling, you had the feeling that you are welcome in the hotel. I think Kaliakra is one of the latest hotels in Albena that still have some traces of what has been once the Albena high quality management standards.

I didn't like that the hotel took more money from my bank account that I supposed to pay and they couldn't resolve this problem to give my money back . In that case be aware and check your account.

People who "reserve" beach beds with their towels, although rules are clear against this. As long as someone is not there - remove their towel and let people occupy the beds closer to the sea (or at least a bed).

Room cleaning was definetly the weak point of the stay. The hotel is overall in need of a refresh and maintenance, but the rooms are more impacted than other areas. The air conditioning, the sides of the bathtub and curtains were dirty, no way to avoid it. Towels and bathing supplies were changed daily, but I don't think the room was vacuumed any time during our 5 nights stay. There were some spider webs on the ceiling when we got there and still there when we left. It gives the idea that the staff doesn't really care. Staff if polite at best, but not really welcoming.

The beach is practically at the hotel's door, the main pool is nice and clean with lots of space, as well as the kids' pool. The offer at the restaurant was good also, lots of variety and generally good cooking for the type of food offered, different things suitable for kids as well, if you're not too strict on healthy eating. The hotel is overall well organized and comfortable, albeit needing maintenance and some refreshing on the furniture and equipment.

I didn't like the room that was small and not clean, the bathroom was horrible , smelling so bad, with mold, no ventilator, I don't think the hotel deserves 4 stars. Also, in Albena there were lots of stray dogs which I think is inacceptable, it is very dangerous and not sanitary.

The overall status of the hotel and facilities, are far away from a 4 stars standard. Rooms are quite small and in an overall degraded state. Drink's (juices and alcoholics)are really low quality; not up to an "ultra all inclusive" offer. First 2 rows of sunbeds on the Beach could be occupied for an additional cost!??! Not good value for the payed price!

Good location, right on the beach, nice pool for adults and kids. Food is divers and ok. Privat beach with sunbeds for guests.

Our shower was broken, the bathroom was not so clean as i expected and the drinks are very low quality, we had to pay extra for a good drink and that s not ok if it is an ultra all inclusive hotel. And i didnt like people who stayed at this hotel, low quality people.
