The location was perfect. The view from my balcony across the rooftops to Tsarevets fortress and the surrounding cliffs is beautiful. The room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable and the staff were courteous and friendly. They accommodated my special requests with no issues whatsoever. I would recommend the Bela Neda to anyone travelling on a budget.

Not for the mobile challenged. Taxis won't go to the door. There's a 5 min walk uphill on cobbled stones, then there are steep steps up to the guests house and more if you are on the first floor. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay, great location and we really enjoyed our one night stay. There is not too much to see in Tarnova, so I wouldn't stay longer.

The parking around the area was an issue and the hosts could not provide us with precise information where we can park (even for a paid parking).

The rooms were comfortable and the location is perfect for the visitors of the city center. The garden is lovely for having coffee with the friends.

Silent, beautiful place in the beautiful part of town. Nice room, 4 beds. One of them is double. WI-fi, tv, air conditioner. Near the room is a small own terrace. Very good and comfortable. Thanks.

We stayed in a large room with four comfortable beds. We were on the ground floor and had a nice veranda with table and chairs. The garden was lovely and the trees kept good shade. The location was perfect in the centre, on one of the paved streets. There are free parking spots, if you are lucky to find one.

The pillows in our friends' room were slightly smoked, but it didn't spoil our impression of this property.

A very hospitable and responsive host. A wonderful place in the center of the old town. The only detail was that there is no designated parking. But luck was on our side, and we parked both of our cars at a free parking lot within walking distance from the hotel. We stayed on our way to Greece - an ideal option. I recommend it. Would gladly stay again!

There were no dedicated parking facilities for the hotel and that was very important on the streets of Turnovo. As the area is very hilly, with narrow cobble stone roads, a larger car could hardly maneuver around the hotel and finding a parking spot was extremely hard. The staff from the hotel assisted us at the end (which was very kind of them), but this would be helpful to know in advance.

The air conditioning was great. The people were very responsive to our needs and queries (the owner helped us find a place to park our cars and gave us cutlery and access to a fridge). The view from the guest house was breathtaking. The rooms were also very clean.

This is not a minus, more likely recommendation - there was no breakfast option, even some sandwiches would add value. Parking in the area is difficult, no parking lot was secured, but the property does inform about the issue, so it was all fine.

Great location in Old town, near all major places of interest. Great value for money. Room was clean, comfortable. All our expectations were met. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. All mentioned about the place by the owner is 100% true.

We booked two rooms. One was perfect but unfortunately the other smelled of cigarettes. We tried to air the room by keeping the windows open but it seemed that the smoke was in all the curtains and the furniture. It was rather disturbing.

The place is in a beautiful old building very near the centre. Everything was clean and convenient. Each room had its own little terrace and the whole place had a friendly, quiet athmosphere.

The only (minor) complaint I have is that the pillows were those orthopedic memory foam ones and I didn't like them (they were too hard). Even though I was never cold, and I got a good night's sleep, the bedding was thin blankets rather than the more usual duvet. I like to be submerged in my bed coverings, so it would have been nice to have had the option of a proper duvet. That said, the staff were so nice I have a feeling that if I had thought to ask for those things up front, They would have provided them for me.

It's a really nice little hotel, right in the middle of things but tucked far enough away that it's quiet. I asked for - and received - a room with a balcony and a good view. As a result I had a magnificent view of Tsaravets fortress and the surrounding area while seated on my balcony. The room was clean and well decorated. Bathroom was spotless. The chap that booked us in was really friendly and welcoming.

a great location, right in the middle of old town. very spacious room which was comfy and clean. the bathroom was also comfortable and clean. as with other guest houses in the old town, there is no specified parking available, but you can always find somewhere on the street to park. There was a lovely garden and a friendly cat which met us just as we arrived. the only thing missing was a little fridge in the room, which would've been useful to have. very good price for what we got.
