Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Romaniathere´s any negative feedback to leave very good experience
Was our first experience with the Bulgarian beaches. Totally recommendable, the hotel itself and Nassebar area!! Great city, a lot of stuff to do, to visit, to join! This small island was beyond expectations! Great hotel, kind employees on reception, parking and restaurant, chapeau for the cleaning team!! Beautiful sea views, just a few steps to the beach, nice pool and terrace with sea views as well!! I would definitely return to this hotel and Nassebar!!

United KingdomThere wasn't anything I did not like about this hote.
This hotel was on the beach front with views of old Nessebar in the distance. Food was really nice, and the staff helpful and attentive. It felt particularly nice dining here with the view of the sea. Nice clean hotel great value, lovely dining experience.

United KingdomTotal confusion with our order one evening for food. Four plates of food were delivered cold and waiting staff didnt know what they were serving as male waiter was up singing with the entertainer instead of serving.
Spotlessly clean in all areas. Very comfortable rooms. Good prices at bar. Friendly and welcoming staff.

SlovakiaIt is pitty that pool was closed in the evenings and mornings (from 18.00 till 8.00). The pool has nice underwater lights so would be nice having it open. Then sometimes the meal from halfboard menu was not exactly as we ordered. That was only a very small issue as the food was very good anyway.
Location is the best in Nessebar area. Just in the middle between Old Town and wild beach. The style of the hotel we like much. Staff very nice and helpful all the time. We enjoyed excellent breakfast with calm beach atmosphere. The pool was great too.

United KingdomCheeky on certain charges - like being charged extra for asking for some ketchup at lunch. Room cleaning - not so great - used glasses and cups not cleaned - had to do it ourselves.
On the beach - great location. Breakfast was good - much better on our lat day when the hotel was busier with guests. Room size was good with a decent balcony with a sea view.

GermanyMany seagulls dropping their droppings everywhere (but which the staff cleans up daily). The seagulls are almost a plague within and around Nesbar, but everyone (including us) seemed to get used to it quickly and just ignored them.
We loved the excellent breakfast buffet that was constantly replenished; very good, fast and unobtrusive room service; the beds had the best mattresses so far on our two week road trip through Bulgaria. And it seemed we got a free room upgrade from patial see view to sea view, because the view was fantastic (we travelled at the beginning of the summer season end of May)!

RomaniaThe toilet's lid was not correctly mounted, and the tank was also a little defective, but we could use the toilet with no significant issues.
Good and diverse breakfast. Nice rooms and sea view. Kind staff. We paid nothing for parking (probably because we were out of seasob).

NetherlandsThe duvet cover was too shirt for the duvet, no large duvet. One of the drawers had a big water stain. The night lamps are very bright, could use a different bulb to dim it a lot. The breakfast was not special and a bit pricey for what we got.
Good location, very friendly staff. The minus points are written under here, however I will stay here again if I visit Nessebar. The view from our balcony (terrace I should say) was amazing!

United KingdomThis hotel was clean with a friendly atmosphere. My husband and I stayed in one room with our daughter and grandson, there was a large double bed separated off from 2 single beds all of which were very comfortable. The room was a good size and had a fridge and kettle, plenty of storage space and a good size balcony which overlooked the sea. There were complimentary drinks and sweets which were very much appreciated. The room was clean and tidy. They had even set the baby’s bed up and placed a little gift bag in it which was a lovely surprise for our grandson. We paid for breakfast which was very good, it caters for just about all dietary needs, there was egg, bacon and other hot foods, cereals, cheeses, cakes, fruit, all kinds of bread and plenty more. Also a big choice of drinks. The pool is a fair size, it does state it’s heated but it definitely didn’t feel it.! The staff were all friendly and there is a chance of parking outside the hotel but depends how busy it is, we got lucky and managed to park there. The beach is literally just outside the hotel with easy access, although to get on the beach there are a dozen or so steps. The olde town is a 15/20min walk or 5 mins by car so that was good for us. There are massages available on site at reasonable prices. Over all we all enjoyed our stay in the hotel and actually booked to stay again in a week.! Would definitely recommend.!
