Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandService. You have to open your sofa bed on arrival even the no. of people are clearly stated in time of booking. There is no reply to your message in the app when you have a question. Shower gel not provided, tissue rolls not enough for 4 days stay, but it is stated in the booking that toiletries are provided. Dinning table is not leveled, not sure for design reason or it is broken, but it is difficult to be used when table in an angle. Rotten smell constantly come out from the main bathroom shower drainage. It is disturbing here or there…

MexicoOkay, there were a couple of things 1. When we arrived, there was a terrible sewage smell coming from one of the bathrooms and it even had mosquitoes flying around. It disappeared overnight but it was truly unbearable while it lasted. 2. The other bathroom was clogged when we arrived and we had no way of unclogging it. Also, by the end of our 3 day stay, it was starting to smell like sewage. 3. The safety lock on the door doesn't work, it never fit. 4. They don't give any cooking basics such as salt or pepper as an addition. Neither do toiletries like shampoo. Also, the cooking appliances are limited, there was only one pot and one frying pan, which can be stressful if you're traveling with someone else and you want to cook at the same time. 5. The location they give is a little bit inaccurate, it sends you to the other side of the street instead of in front of the building. 6. We had difficulties making the TV work, since it said for a while that it was not connected to any network. I don't know how we got it to work in the end. 7. The attention given could also improve. I sent and email and they only gave generic responses and no one ever went to check any of the issues. They offered "solutions" that really don't work. 8. The table was tilted and we were actually concerned it could break. We could also see rust at th bottom of it.
I liked that it has a lot of space and that it had a very good location. It has an elevator and it was quiet for the time we were there.

Netherlandsdue to high temprature there was a very strong smell from the sewage of the bed room next to the kitchen, the curtens where hanged without proper installation, and one window handle was boken it requires some fix, the bed sofa is not comfortable also.
the apartment has a very nice modern design and spacious.

France- Horrible smell from the drain pipe. It lasted 3 days. (We stayed 6 nights in total) - So much noise outside. Bad windows. - Not well equipped. Only 4 plates only 4 forks etc. Towel holders etc. - Bed sheets were full of stains. - Sofa in the living room was bad. The apartment is really amazing but not well used by the company. Too bad.

BrazilAlthough the concept of smart flats is really nice, the administration does not maintain the properties. There is a foul smell in all bathrooms and kitchen sink, one of the bedrooms had a broken curtain, there was a hole in the hall area and the light by our front door was not working. We contacted the admin several times throughout our stay via WhatsApp and kept getting standard responses that they would look into our issues. Nothing was done.
Great location, the place itself was clean. Easy access.

New ZealandThe sofa bed was very bad and needs replacing ASAP. Luckily there was only a child on it and not an adult. The apartment was ok but lacked the little things like handsoap, a towel rail and toilet roll holder in the toilet. Plus one pitiful pillow each. Just small things that could have gone a long way. The wifi was terrible and when I contacted Smartflats they were no help at all. It's hard to plan things when you don't have access to maps and websites etc. The ridiculously long door codes were a pain too.
The apartment was very spacious and had a good view.

GermanyAt the end moment, they changed the house number which wasn’t matching to Google and it was a trouble finding for it. Moreover, they mentioned that the flat has an air conditioner but it didn’t have. The fan was also not working. We complained to the customer care, they promised to us that it will be fixed but nobody came in 3 days to fix it. It was horrible to sleep without a fan. Customer service is very poor. They don’t revert you and if they do then they don’t provide service for it.

United KingdomBoth shower rooms had a bit of a Brussels pong to them, but we got used to it. Mattress was really hard and uncomfortable. The small single pillow per person didn't help (though we did find spare pillows in one of the bedrooms at the end of our stay).
Massive main room and big bedrooms. Having the kitchen with a fridge was excellent. No air con but you can open the big windows to get a breeze (also brought in the sounds of the city). Even though not in the centre of town it is a lively shopping district with a short walk to metro and tram stop.

IrelandNo air conditioner, inhuman staff, did not contact us to find out how we were doing, we could be dead in there!!!, address given to get there wrong 1/3 instead of 2/4 capitaine crespel, the fan was not working the heat in the flat unbearable even with all the windows open. We did not sleep for 4 nights, they emptied our bank account by taking €300 twice and didn’t tell us until we could not get money from cash machine. They did not even apologise for it, they were saying it is not our fault and you are not the only ones. Can you imagine!!! Us if it was our fault they took our money twice…..
