Location location location. And despite being in the heart of Brussels, it’s very quiet! The staff was super friendly and helped out with late arrival and with a very kind check-out process.

People who are choosing this hotel should not forget that it is old building, so it will be not the same comfort level as you would expect in a newly build hotel. For those who finds important for the reception to be there 24/7, need to say that there is no reception at night. But you get all keys and info once you arrive, so it's no problem. Those who need to leave early and want to have a breakfast, have in mind that it's a cafe, and it opens at 8:00.

Staying in this place truly gives you full experience of Brussels Grand place. You see the square, and can open the window, just as it is advertised in the pictures. You have breakfast in cafe in the same square, so you keep enjoying the view. Breakfast is already preplanned for you, and you get all what you need. Even though you are above the bars, it is not so noisy, because they are not open all night long and the isolation is quite well. Staff is nice and helpful.

Must be there before 6:30 to collect keys as after hotel is unattended. Missed the message explaining this. Bathroom needed a few cosmetic repairs.

The smell of the old carpet, the breakfast is across the square , but overall if you are travelling alone, for just couple of nights this is a good choice

Since there are only a few rooms in this hotel, the staff may not always be present. Thus you might have to text or call ahead to make sure they know when you are arriving. But this is a minor inconvenience only.

Perfect location overlooking Brussel’s main square. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are no frills but clean and comfortable and airy. You couldn’t ask for a better location to feel as if you are truly a part of the Brussel’s scene. You are literally steps away from cafes and shops of every kind. Throw open you windows and take in the view!

The rooms are quite sparse, although this didn't really bother us so much.

The location of the hotel was excellent being situated directly on Grand Place. Although a busy location this was not noticeable within our room and the view of the square and buildings was amazing. The staff we encountered were friendly and able to advise us on our trip and things to see and do. Breakfast is provided at a restaurant on the opposite side of the square and again this was excellent and good value for money. I would definitely recommend the hotel which is also well located for public transport.

The rexeprionist lauir of this hotel was excellent. Lauir was so helpful and full of knowledge. He was lovely to deal with and nothing was any trouble to him. Rooms were smaller than expected but they is what we paid for. Amazing location.

It was definitely an old hotel, took me a while to find it since the only sign was a small sign on a little roof. There wasn’t really a lobby area. The room was maintained but again- old. There was a fan but it was still too warm for me and windows were sealed so i couldn’t really let air in. Toilet flush was slow.

Definitely the location- it’s right in the middle of where the Grand Palace is and for me is the perfect location. The view from the window is 100%. The owner/person in the front desk(?) was very nice and responsive. Even helped me carry my bag to show where the train station is back to Midi. It included a free breakfast which though it was the restaurant across the hotel (which you don’t mind coz you walked in the middle of such beautiful architecture) and it was good.

The room was affected by noise could hear loud music until the early hours of the morning, and windows let in a lot of sound from the square , maybe triple glazing the windows would help
