Parking was a bit difficult, not the hostess’s fault, our car was too big to get into parking provided by the property - visited the information centre ( round corner) they were very helpful in letting us know where to park etc.

Met at the property and given a chat about keys, heating etc (lovely couple who were very helpful). Property itself was as the pictures show and more. Beds etc were comfortable, in a quiet street so slept well. Kitchen well equipped, we did a little cooking and found everything we needed . The main square is just round the corner so plenty bars restaurants etc on the door step. Plenty of information leaflets to let you know what there is in the area. Hostess was available by telephone if needed so no worries there. All in all we had a very comfortable stay.

The location and setting is perfect. The apartment is spacious and extremely well presented. The owner has been helpful and courteous throughout. Everything about the pilgrims loft is a reflection of the wider landscape and people of Ypres.

There is absolutely nothing that can be criticised about Pilgrim's Loft. The only suggestions that we have is that some travellers might appreciate a washing machine (we didn't need one as we were only staying for a short time but it might be valuable to others). Other than that Pilgrim's Loft is perfect and almost certainly the best place we have stayed. Can't wait to go back.

Pilgrim's Loft is simply beautiful! The apartment is spacious and very well furnished, and is located in a stunning building - an old monastery. This given the apartment a unique appearance and atmosphere. It is located in the centre of Ypres - perfect for walking to the museums, shops and restaurants and yet at the same time it is quiet and peaceful with no noise from traffic or passers-by. A fantastic bonus is the underground parking which saves all the hassle and worry of paying to park on a street in a town you don't know. I have no reservation in recommending it as I fully intend to go back myself.

We had a little trouble finding the apartment on first arrival as there was no sign on the outside of the building. Had to ask the gym which ended up being just next door.

It was amazing, beautiful modern apartment in ancient building. Double Toilets, Large area to relax in. Very practical kitchen, well supplied, everything anyone would need while visiting the area. Underground Carpark accessed by lift.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything single thing! The apartment was beautifully designed and furnished with many original monastery features. Very clean, close to center of Bruges and the train station, exceptionally well provisioned, comfy beds, kind and helpful hosts.
