Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe wash basin in the bathroom - flat rectangular wash basin - design over convenience I suppose - but any solid stuff wouldn't drain fast and well. I had to clean the wash basin every time after use - it did bother me and hence the mention. This is more of a feedback to the hotel. The lack of a kettle and proper ceramic cups in the room. This really bothered us. The espresso machine could be used to get hot water but as a person who enjoys a good cup of tea in the morning, I was disappointed trying to get hot water from an espresso machine and drink my tea from a paper cup - it is my well-earned holiday after all! The choice of tea bags was pretty basic - no English breakfast tea for example.
Friendly and helpful staff at the reception Size of room: very impressive given general European standards Breakfast: very good breakfast and friendly serving staff Comfortable beds and good airconditioning A nice restaurant in the lobby for some late-night snacks and drinks Good Location: It is a 20-minute walk to the main Grand Place square (where all the action is). There are a few tram and metro stops nearby (a few minutes walk) in case you prefer that There is a Carrefour express store right opposite which was very useful for us - they have some decent sandwiches and wraps as well (closes only at 9.00 pm) There is a vending machine in the lobby where you can get some water, chocolate, chips etc.

AustraliaThe coffee machine. I dont think pods are enviromentaly friendly, a plunger would be better. Also would prefer English breakfast tea bags or a pot for tea.

MaltaChose this hotel as it is close to a work project. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The extended desk along the window is ideal for working and so is the strong and reliable Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet is generous in size and offers something for everyone, including gluten-free bread upon request. The hotel is a safe bet for a business trip or a leisurely weekend.

United KingdomLady (Chinese) telling guests at breakfast to leave the room by 10:30am. Rude as hell to do that. Guests usually know when they should be out you don’t need to interrupt conversations and eating to address people. Car park was poorly lit with small spaces for larger cars. Reception staff in one instance with a Chinese male came off as a little condescending when asking whether I had found the car park while laughing with another member of staff. When you have a 5m Porsche Panamera it’s going to take some time to find a decent spot in a poorly lit car park buddy. Restaurant was constantly closed.
Some interesting artistic elements in the hotel which made for an interesting stay. The junior suite was a fairly good size with a nice large desk for working though was quite cold but thankfully had a little heating. Breakfast buffet was good with some decent options like raw ingredients for tea such as ginger and lemon. Night staff were friendly, polite and tentative (African male)

IrelandAs always I wanted to post out some tourist cards home, when I asked the reception they didn’t accept them, thankfully they tried to find the next postbox for me where they discovered they could send them out themselves. Day was saved.
I arrived super early so they stored my luggage until I returned from exploring town. The hotel location is beyond amazing, many options by public transport and cheap taxi ride from most hot spots. I had an epic view over the botanic garden. The entire hotel has cute quirky interior style, worth it alone to take a stroll around the ground floor.

Czech RepublicI was staying at the second floor, so I would rather use the staircase. However, finding it is not that easy, neither from the ground floor nor from the second floor. I think I found them from the second floor, but they looked so uninviting that I decided to use the elevator. The elevator works on the room card. It happened that my card stopped working and then you are actually stuck in the elevator, because it also won't open the door without functional card. So I actually had to wait inside the elevator until someone took the elevator, and I could get out.
Having been at Bloom already many times, I am quite pleased with the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and with nice interior. The staff is always very helpful. The gym is great. The breakfast is a true delight. Free wifi works spotless. The hotel is a short walk from North train station, and roughly half on hour walk to historical city centre.

RomaniaWe had to check out at ~6AM, so we asked at the reception whether there is a possibility to have the breakfast either early or to-go. We were told not to worry because starting from 5AM at the reception we will find a small buffet containing water, coffee, orange juice and some pastries. When we got to the reception, the buffet was a small coffee machine with capsules and 3 croissants. Maybe the expectations were too high, but I was disappointed.
The hotel is well-located, close to public transport and there's a 30 minute walk to the main square. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a lot of good options to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

SpainI think they overdid it with some of the design. It's meant to be refreshed and modern, but a bit too much. The entrance to the room looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. Thankfully there's a curtain to separate that form the rest of the room. While location was ok, it's just outside the city center and not much going on nearby.
The bed was super comfortable and the room very spacious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The overall hotel facilities were also quite nice. Easy to get to from Brussels airport and not too far from the city centre.
