Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyCheck-in was quite slow and there was trouble with their system. On the way out they were horribly understaffed and only had one person managing 15+ people s checkin plus luggage storage service. If people would not have offered me to skip the line to get my bags after some time had passed I would have missed my train. The staff was very clear on not caring or acknowledging being understaffed. By their attitude it was clear this cant be an isolated case. The other staff was very friendly. This incident as the one major minus point though.
Comfy beds, big rooms, they were able to accommodate us and change our room away from the elevator. Spa is small but cute. Fantastic view on the station!

I asked them a few questions but they were unable to answer any of them... i asked about using the Tesla chargers (2 were available but had no power) and the guy didn't seem to care.. why do you have destination chargers and advertise them when they've been turned off? Also he didn't even know where to get tea bags when i asked for one.. Also at 11am the pool door was closed?

United KingdomThe fridge in our room did not work and, despite asking twice,nobody came to look at it, the basin in the bathroom didn't drain well and one of the side lights in the room didn't work. It didn't feel as spotless as you might expect but it was more than acceptable and the lovely staff made up for this in our opinion.
Friendly staff, small but nice pool and sauna, good location, generally what you would expect from this type of hotel. We were also lucky enough to get a room with a great view of the beautiful station...worth asking!

IsraelFor the first time in many years of traveling, I have encountered an unfriendly and even rude service at check out from the employee named himself Junis. Unfortunately, this incident left a bad aftertaste that does not fit with the level of the hotel and the purpose of our visit to Antwerp - to celebrate a family event.
Spacious room overlooking the station. Nice bathroom with bathtub. The pool, although the water was cool, probably not heated, so we decided against a second visit to the pool the next day. Very good breakfast and а hospitable staff in the restaurant.
