The water pressure of the shower was a bit disappointing but a small factor against all the positives.

Great location with easy access to a beautiful quiet beach. Bistro on site offered good food (with some gf options) at reasonable prices. All staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Wifi was good and it was great value for money. Very comfortable beds/pillows!

The property could do with a little bit of updating. Could be an absolutely awesome property with a bit of investment- however, it would be unfortunate if that resulted in an increase in prices.

The location of this property is excellent - literally on the beach with the Bayside beach bar just yards away for good food and beer deals. Beach is right on the doorstep and the water in the bay great for swimming being calmer than the waters round by the St Lawrence area. A 10 minute walk along the beach to Savvy’s bar area for great food and drink open 24 hours and another 5 minutes to Bridgetown.

Sofa and bed was hard for my liking. Ok for Dad. A shower curtain would have helped keep water off the floor leading to the toilet room.

Excellent location right on the beach in Carlisle Bay. Brownes beach proper is just a 5 min walk away. Exactly what we wanted and needed!

We visited during low season, so this might not apply year round, but we would have loved the bistro and bar to be open in the afternoon and evening. Happy hour at sunset on the beach would have been fantastic.

The location was excellent and staff were great. Very accommodating of our requests for additional nights, linen etc. The beach was great for swimming and snorkelling. We saw turtles in reasonably shallow water every day. The shipwreck is easily accessible off shore for confident swimmers (we didn't have fins and still quite achievable) and the number of different fish varieties was amazing. Absolutely spectacular sunsets from this location as well. Lots of food options close by and Bridgetown is within walking distance. The two bedroom/two bathroom unit was a great size with enough utility in the kitchen to cater some meals for ourselves.

This motel-style hotel is Ideally located on the beach. The hotel supervisor Marc is always there when you need him, thank you very much Marc! The hotel team is in general very helpful and very nice with the hosts. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.

Our shower only had cold water. From the bathroom windows, we could see a security camera. I'm sure its only intended to capture people going up and down the stairs, and going through that hallway. Nonetheless, from our vantage point, it looks like it could potentially see into the bathroom from it's periphery. There's 2 windows in that bathroom, I would suggest Nautilus cover up one of them, so guests won't have to be concerned or uncomfortable about this.

We had a fantastic stay here. We couldn't have asked for a better location, right on the famous Carlisle Bay. The staff were also top-notch; highly professional, and hard working. Their Bayside Bistro (beach bar and restaurant) was superb as well. Thank you to Nicole, Shanice, and the rest of the team, for providing such a wonderful stay for us!

No daily room service. No one came by to remove trash or provide new linens or towels. Also the shower water pressure was really low and the water was Luke warm, barely good enough for a shower.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t really like but I’m not super picky. Yes it needed some little repairs here and there and the shower knob was a bit wobbly… but nothing that bothered me

Amazing location… quiet but easily accessible for shops restaurants.. bars. The staff were amazing especially Nicole, Omar and Tams to name a few. Everyone was so polite helpful and kind. Being a first time solo traveler they made me feel so welcome and safe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Situated right on a beautiful white sandy beach right next to where they snorkel with the turtles and swim the racehorses. The apartment itself wasn’t 5* but it had every o needed, was clean and comfortable with a great view over the beach and ocean. I fell in love with Barbados and this villa. I actually thought it was better than their sister hotel. The food was amazing and the cocktails second to none! I will be going back and staying there again!!

There was no safe in the room although the manager offered to put valuables in the office safe. Only one easy chair in the kitchen/dining area. Water from the shower was not hot - understand this is being attended to.

Location!Location!Location! ON Brownes beach away from the big hotels. Bar and restaurant on the beach! Be warned last orders at the restaurant is 7.30pm. Food is good, especially the burgers and fries.

There's a small parking lot between the rooms and the beach, which obstructs what would be a beautiful view. Housekeeping is by request, but we didn't know so the first day we came back and the room wasn't made up. Housekeeping is really friendly, so it was easily resolved. We asked in advance for two separate beds but they were still together even after we asked again when we got there.

The beach is BEAUTIFUL and only a few yards from the rooms. The hotel is easy to find and only about twenty minutes from the airport. The staff is super helpful and nice. Jah was really friendly and helped us learn a lot about the island. The restaurant is right on the beach so you can have food and drinks under the tent or brought to your beach chair!

The bed was very hard. The requested blanket was very thin. Had to cover the blanket with the beach towel to add more warmth.

It was modest. I appreciated soaps on the wall in shower, by the mirror and kitchen sink. Appreciated having the fan. Had adequate storage area in bedroom. Could have used more hangers. Appreciated the change of towels and linens. Loved the view of the ocean. Appreciated the receptionist/secretary's kindness and help.

The bedroom was smaller than I expected and there was no bottled water in the refridgerator for arriving guest. The closet was tiny and the lighting could have been better.

Breakfast was good, however I wasn't able to get whole wheat bread at breakfast. The staff was pleasant and friendly.

Taxi driver drove past the small sign to reception without seeing it (of course we were in the back so didn’t see it either). All the rooms have signs on the door saying “Welcome, please knock” so we knocked and unfortunately disturbed a guest who told us reception is on the other side of the building from the parking area. No hair drier - but maybe if you ask … we didn’t as only staying 2 nights.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The bistro (same management) on the beach is good. It’s in a lovely quiet spot between the acres of pay-for sunliungers nearer town and the big hotels at the S end of the bay. It’s an easy swim from the beach to the wrecks that are mobbed with tours from about 10am. The rooms are basic but everything works. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the middle of Bridgetown. Go along the beach, the road is busy and foot way often blocked.
