We were on 3rd floor facing the main road, was a bit noisy (not general traffic just loud trucks /cars / motorbikes). Husband didn’t like the shower, fancy head that had very fine mist water. I didn’t mind it!

Super comfy bed. Location was good. Room set up was fabulous - good storage, big bathroom.

I still have a pending charge on my card that has not been reversed since our stay Saturday night. Once that gets reversed I'll be happy 😊

We last stayed at our favourite hotel The Point two years ago and must agree with the growing criticism shown in the reviews that the rooms are becoming very much dated. On the other hand room prices appear to reflect this fact. You only get what you pay for. The infrequent access to the Eagles Nest still frustrating. Can't comment on current dining as our group were not present for meals. All else; great staff, great location and great parking.

The hotel looks a little dated in places, particularly the room fittings, artwork, and the restaurant decor.

We had a balcony room on level 9 and the view of the river was quite lovely. It even captured the sunrise. Similarly, the view from The Eagles Nest was beautiful at night.

The first room (502) was very noisy looking straight over the traffic however the staff kindly moved us. Thank you Vinnie.

The location was very convenient as we had a function nearby.

The apartment was a bit older which I wasn’t expecting but it was still nice. The mini bar and cafe seemed a bit more expensive than necessary. Location is great with a car or if you like to scooter around but cafes and shops are a bit further away if you’re walking. Parking is tight if you have a bigger car. Street noise is loud outside but muted well with the balcony doors.

The bed was super comfy and the place was nice. We enjoyed our stay here. Having the cafe downstairs was very convenient as shops are a bit of a walk away. It has free parking which was great.

There were stains in the carpet that had not been removed. And there was no milk in the fridge when we arrived to make coffee.

Comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Quiet, nice views, plenty of (although a little noisy) air conditioners - one in the living area and another in the bedroom.

Parking was a bit weird perhaps management can explain the situation. We advised the hotel we required parking and were directed to the car park after checking in Saturday afternoon. When we got into the car park it was full, not only were all the car park spaces taken but two drive-through drive-ways allowing for circular movement of cars had cars parked in them so it was quite a chore to back out to a more open area, particularly as two other cars were behind us with no where to go. One parked car left during the maneuvering and we were able to 'grab the space'. Apart from this difficulty was the weird bit - three hours later after returning to the car to get something I discovered the car park was only half full with plenty of car parks available, and this remained true for the two more days we stayed. Maybe the key is to not arrive too early in the day (although it was well after 2 pm when we got there).

Lovely large room, very comfortable bed. The exceptional on site restaurant. Pool-side area. Friendly staff. Nice roof-top bar for sights of the city.

The Asian gentleman who served us on our check-in date and check-out was very unfriendly and did not give us a welcoming feeling. He also gave no information about the hotel, including amenities, services or even where the elevators were. There was also an older gentleman who was not very friendly, though he did not directly provide any assistance to us. Very distasteful representative of the hotel/brand and enough to send me looking elsewhere the next time I'm in town. The bathrooms are also a bit outdated. The showerhead was particularly annoying as you had to stand close to the wall to use it properly. I expect that washing long hair under it would be frustrating.

The beds are extremely comfortable, and the pillows are unreal. The food from the restaurant on site was delicious and had good portions. There was ample parking, and the surrounding area felt safe/secure. The lobby was stylish. There was a good selection of options in the bar fridge. We ran into multiple female workers during our short stay; all were friendly and welcoming.

i was disappointed cause i rang to say my daughter would check in before me and i asked that she be let into the room but they didn’t get the message and she had to wait til my plane landed and i could speak to someone again. i even gave her the money to pay for the room- most annoying
