The location of the bathroom was a bit unusual and the bathroom and bedrooms being on different levels may not suit everyone.

We had Chalet 3 which is not the one pictured. The location among the trees was picturesque and peaceful. It was comfortably furnished if not stylishly. It should be noted that the bedrooms are up steep stairs and the bathroom is on the ground floor. So a visit to the bathroom during the night required a bit of effort. It is not suitable for anyone for whom mobility is a challenge.

Nothing. It was the best weekend we have had in a long time.

The serenity. Beautiful location and the chalets blend so well with the surrounding nature. Had so much fun feeding and watching the birds which were definitely a highlight - cockatoo, rosella, king parrots and various little wrens frequented our outdoor area and we handfed a number of birds. The chalet with its unique style, large circle window and loft bed was a fun change and beautiful to wake up to.

It was breathtaking, friendly wild birds you could hand feed, fireflies everywhere at night was magical and they added some sweet touches to the chalet for the occasion. Would definitely love to return, absolute paradise.

Spa bath would benefit from having a couple grab rails installed. At least on on the exterior wall between the tub & vanity at point of entry. Hand hold on the timber wall rib there is not great for people with smaller hands or lack of hand strength ( likely to be found in older folk). A rail is easier to grasp. Otherwise, all good & comfortable stay.

Bit dark inside , which is logical because it's in the forest . But we prefer bit more cosy lights (e.g warm white bulbs) and not hell bright lights. Just our preference .

There is no restaurants close by so you need to take your own food, which we were prepared for as we were told this in advance.

We loved the privacy of the Chalet, we couldn't see another chalet from ours. All we could see was birds and trees. We loved feeding the birds from our balcony every afternoon. Well appointed kitchen. The spa downstairs was amazing. A great place for a weekend getaway with many hiking trails close by

Easy to find. Easy to check in. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Chalet is well provisioned in the kitchen and with blankets and towels. Plenty of privacy. Beautiful surroundings. So many local birds that came right up to the feeder and us. We loved every moment. Fire was great to have, and the bed was huge and comfy. Hot tub was amazing to have right downstairs. Perfectly suited for staying in or going for some amazing local walks.

What didn’t we like?! The only thing we didn’t like was that we didn’t book for more days to stay! We didn’t want to leave, it’s honestly perfect with no faults.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! They have wild birds that will happily come to your deck and say hello, the hosts provide you with a jar of bird seed so you can take a bit in your hands and hand feed the parrots and Crimson Rosellas. There’s also a big cockatoo & plenty of red browed finches to see too! They provide you with all the things you need to start your fireplace up. They have a movie library with plenty to choose from too so if you don’t have reception you can spend your time curled up watching movies by the fire. We thankfully had reception to use FB, Snapchat and a bunch of other things whilst we were there (we’re with Optus). The fully done up kitchen is perfect to make your meals in. We happily stayed there four days and three nights and never left. We also got wonderful massages arranged inside our chalet for a very affordable price. This place is perfect and we will be back next year to stay the entire week!

I stayed in this cabin for two nights, and it was an incredible experience! Nestled in the heart of nature, it was a peaceful escape where I could feed the birds and be surrounded by wildlife. Listening to the various birdsongs was truly magical. The service was excellent—Paul was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in nature.
