Breakfast and dinner were always delicious, Waking up being able to ski to the first T bar was excellent and relaxing to not be rushed like other places.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Good sized fridge, good heating, a window that could be opened, good shower and kitchenette. Good access to ski lockers with one in the apartment building and one in the main centre. Good breakfast included as was parking.

Very good for kids. The dinner time kids club is great. Food is reasonable. There is a bar and attached resturant. Shops are downstairs. Lunch is available at downstairs cafe. Nice relaxing atmosphere and lovely staff.

Craig, Aleysha and the teams at Smiggens Hotel & Chalet Apartments went out of their way to my family and I feel very special. From advise about coming up the mountain and fitting on snow chains to trying to fit us in for another night. Nothing felt like too much trouble for this team. We loved the transfer up to Perisher and when we had to return our snow gear on the morning we left, Anthony the driver hung around while I dropped off the gear to the ski hire place at Perisher Valley. It was very pleasing to see customer service like this still exist. My expectations were well and truly exceeded.

Everything was amazing except for the smell in the room. The linen and the room itself smelled strongly of a cleaning detergent that was unfortunately unpleasant.

A bit hard to find food during the day. Not normally a problem as breakfast was exceptional but my type 1 diabetic daughter had a few hypoglycaemic episodes, apparently cold causes her glucose levels to drop and as she hadn't had many lately I didn't pack enough food to compensate. Long story short, partner found very expensive chocolate bars at perisher. Next year will be more prepared, might need bigger fridge in room though. As her Insulin has to go in fridge too.

The food was amazing. Bus shuttle was ideal, never had to wait long. The lounge was quiet and relaxing.

Unfortunately the lifts at Smiggins shut early prior to our arrival, however the staff offered lifts to Perisher in addition to the shuttle bus service. We were also given complimentary locker hire which was handy. The lift operation was out of their control at the hotel as it is a resort operations decision, so I wouldn’t particularly say it was a negative on their part.

We loved the dining options and the staff were extremely accommodating. We had a Mountain View room with a gorgeous view of the chairlift out our window. The entertainment options were great also. Di, Jasper and the service staff were always cheery and helpful. We felt very well looked after and will certainly be back soon :)

Booked for 2A and 1C. Ended up Hotel registered as 2A although I show the booking that it was for 2A and 1C. Ended up, I was made to top up close to AUD200 for the 2 nights.

The location was ideal.. but more so if you are a pro skier as the lift and condolas are just a hundred feet away.
