The room was a good size neat tidy and clean and the king-size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast which was included in the rate was very nice each morning beside the pool. It's a short drive down The Strand to the shops and cages although there are 2 cages across the street also. Only a couple of blocks away is The Esplanade where the Coastal walkway takes you over Kissing Point through Jezzine Barracks (North Australian Army Museum) and then down The Strand to Ross River and the Casino if you want to go that far.

Stayed 3 nights and the drink prices at bar were constantly different when ordering the same drinks every time, some staff didn’t seem to know how to charge for a rum and coke.

The TV was playing up. Reception came to help immediately however all the channel 9s did not work. We didn't report that because the reception chap acknowledged that the guy who could possibly fix the issue was off. No major issues but goes towards the 1 point short of a 10. The other reason is that I'm in my 60s with a fractured leg and my companion is 78. Absolutely zero help was offered at check-in to get our luggage upstairs to our room.

The facilities were lovely and relaxing. The pool was just right. Not cold not hot however a shade sail will need to be erected soon, before the water becomes like a tepid bath. Breakfast was included in our cost. While it is both a hot and cold buffet, the offerings were very basic and the juices were empty the entire time we were there.

The pool maintenance is a bit poor, the pool was covered in algae on the tops and sides. Some of the pathing around the pool wasn’t secure which didn’t make it very safe to walk around, especially with kids.

It was in a good location, my room was very quiet, clean and had everything I needed.

Being rebranded, so aspects of the resort were looking tired and in need of upgrade eg the tiles and cement work round the pool. A work in progress. Did not influence our stay in any negative manner.

Quiet location. Well appointed rooms. Good variety of offerings for Continental breakfast buffet style. Hot breakfast for additional $10 was reasonable, again buffet style.

Sunday and mondays no restaurant service in evenings, and nothing much in close walking distance . Does have a bbq area , but that was very poorly maintained area and bbq dirty.

The breakfast deal was a little misleading as it didn’t say continental only and hot was extra money. But still good value for price of room. Had to ask for room service at reception even though I hung the card in door in morning requesting room service. But the reception was very apologetic about this.

One of the best beds I have slept on in motel. Good aircon. If I had an issue the staff were helpful. Pool size is great and plenty of lounges. Short stroll to the Jezzine Barracks and start of strand.

the bed was very soft and not good for a bad back Restaurant was disappointing Had a Smorgasbord on Friday night Meat was tough and vegetables very basic Bar was ill equipped with beer on tap running out over 2 nights

Shower had mould. Was woken very early at 7:10am in the morning with the room under ours being renovated.

Pool area, gardens, daily continental breakfast. Rooms had modern furniture. Generally, clean rooms and gardens. Easy to follow instructions to get key when we arrived after hours. Air con was already on to make the room comfortable for our arrival.
