Great to have the 3 Blue Ducks restaurant onsite, and the menu is interesting…but it’s very expensive. At these prices I would expect a tablecloth to cover those sticky tables! The mark ups on wine are also steep. Our food and wine cost more than the accommodation.

The Nimbo Fork cottage was almost perfect! - Private, spacious, nicely decorated and great location overlooking the Tumut River. Beautiful sunsets. -Comfortable king bed. - Great gas fire, very cosy on a frosty morning. - Loved the breakfast hamper selection of goodies. - Really good coffee served in the main house. - All staff we met were friendly and professional.

The road getting in was a little scary driving at night. It is a shame the restaurant doesn’t do breakfast other than a hamper. We had to drive into Tumut and find a place to eat. Overall Nimbo was a great! Very peaceful and relaxing .

Absolutely beautiful! The food was amazing, rooms were gorgeous. The staff were exceptional.

It is a drive to main towns but scenery is lovely.

I arrived too late to watch the setting sun. I imagine it would have been amazing! I also regret not doing the breakfast package, I am GF & DF, but I feel like something could have been worked out :) Sitting on the verandah, listening to the river with a coffee was enough though.

Everything! The peace and quiet was incredible, nature being the only sound. Delicious meal. The cottage was just perfect and very spacious, heavenly bath! Great take away coffees. Do the river walk its a lovely way to start your morning. Thanks for a great Anniversary night :)

I booked through bookin.com.When I proceed to payment..didn't realise it was in USA dollars. So, ended up paying more than expected. This could improve.

A full length mirror would have been helpful. The door to the cupboard with the kettle etc was awkward to get to.

On the night we dined there, we enjoyed the food and the wine selection but got the impression the restaurant manager felt that working in that restaurant was above her station which was a little but of a downer. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

The location near the river is really so impressive. The photos do not do it justice. So beautiful to take a quiet walk by that lovely fast moving river. We stayed in one of the suites and the room was just very comfortable and peaceful. There were lots of birds in the hedges and the view of the hills from the little balcony was so picturesque. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and the young waitress who served us at dinner was full of enthusiasm.

we only booked the one night, we should have stayed for two as it is such a great location.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The staff were wonderful and accomodating to our needs due to our transport issues. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the staff fabulous. We had the breakfast hamper and it was great.

We loved the breakfast hampers - at first we were a bit dubious about portion size, but they were absolutely perfect. The River Walk was lovely, the surrounds were just beautiful.

Could not point to something we did not like and in fact we are already proposing to buy a voucher for someone special we know.

The location is remote and a good 20 minutes off the highway but a great if you have spent hours thundering up the Hume Highway. Kitchen is good and staff welcoming and personable.

A few more facilities in the room e.g plates so that you could make your own lunch if needs be. Caters for people eating out all the time as there is no microwave. I understand that this is really a luxury escape place, so that this comment is probably not applicable. As such, it is an indulgence.
