The fans of the bedrooms and the showers could be more clean.

The location is amazing and the bed was very comfortable. It's the 3rd time I stay at Maze and this bed was the best one I've got in there so far.

- we stayed at 4 bed dorm, which was noisy from outside of the window even we closed the window. - there are only 2 sockets for 4 people, no light and socket for each bed

The location of the hostel is close to all attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets. The bed was comfy, and toilets and showers (good water pressure) were clean. The staff were helpful. The hostel provided different activities on weekdays in the evening. The atmosphere was good.

The street noise is spectacular even without the nearby construction. Earplugs did not work. Beg for an inner room. A downstairs cafe starts a disco beat at 5AM. But I would stay here again,.

The location is perfect right in the middle of town. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were activities most nights. The facilities were good and kept clean. I will stay here again.

The Fluro lights were too bright for me. I got sensory overload. At night it would be nice to turn down hall lights etc. I sometimes get headaches and felt overwhelmed with sensory issues. No garden or back yard/ plants.

Very clean, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Movie room. Activities, freebies, good security, quiet in room at night. Hot showers, lockers to leave bags when out of town for course. Accomodating staff. Felt included in activities. Fresh air. Computer office room.

No lifts. A staff member helped me with baggage going up the stairs, but leaving, I had to lug it downstairs myself.

Good staff and clientele. The room and facilities were clean. I requested a quiet room and it was reasonably quiet. Very convenient location to restaurants, shops and transport.

Good value for money, stayed in a private room. They allowed us to check in a little early which is always nice. Good cooking facilities and deck area to relax on. Could also store luggage the day of check in/out

While the hostel's location was fantastic, the sleep quality was unfortunately impacted by a few factors. The bed, unfortunately, made a lot of noise with every movement, and the sounds from outside were quite loud, making it difficult to fully relax and get a good night's rest.

This hostell was a dream location! It was incredibly convenient, being just a stone's throw from my event venue. Plus, it was surrounded by fantastic restaurants and dessert shops – I was in foodie heaven! The central train station was also within easy reach, making it a breeze to get around the city. And the best part? It was a delightful stroll to Haymarket, allowing me to explore the charming streets and soak in the local atmosphere.

- The carpet in the rooms and hallway smells old and musky - Was required to show a photo of my passport at check in (as per reception's 'policy') which I didn't have with me since I was travelling domestically. Not a issue for me in this case but could be problematic if a guest is an Australian resident with no/expired passport. I recommend the policy be changed to also include other forms of photo ID such as drivers' licences as these are commonly accepted everywhere else in Australia
