I loved my stay. Originally planning to stay for two nights but due to unexpected flight changes I only got to stay 1 night. Was super cosy. Friendly host and downstairs neighbour. Loved all the little quirks and perks. Has everything you need. I had a hire car so was quick to get everywhere I needed but also an Easy walk to town. I chose to UBer in the evening so I could go enjoy the Sunset, cocktails and dinner. I was travelling solo, did not want to walk in the dark alone, It was only $7.40 each way.

A beautiful apartment with all necessities and where you can sit outside in a nice surrounding. Denny, Jenni and their daughter and Mel are such friendly, nice people and always up for a chat. Jenni took me to the airport herself. It was great to stay there!

Spacious and well appointed with many thoughtful touches, plusa charming little garden to relax in. Very good value for the money. Jenni was a super gracious host, even meeting us out at the taxi upon our arrival with umbrellas.

I couldn't have asked for more.

I loved everything about JD's. The apartment and facilities were exceptional; everything you could want and more was there. Just like home. Jenni was a wonderful, friendly host. The garden was beautiful and the location in easy walking distance to the centre of Cairns. I highly recommend staying here. Soooo much better than a motel.

We stayed with the lovely couple in Cairns and can heavily recommend booking your stay with them. You have your own apartment with a cute kitchen with most of the essentials (and then some). Cozy feeling of summer cabin from back home. The house is a short walk / drive away from the center of town. Peaceful and cute place to stay, gentle and cute dog next door and very friendly couple to share travel tips and a bit of chat. Would visit again and so should you!

The bed was very noisy/ creaky and having a partner who moves a lot in their sleep meant I only collectively had a few hours sleep

The hosts were incredible, went out of their way and even offered us a lift to the airport for our 6.40am flight. The self contained apartment had everything you needed from utensils & cooking equipment to board games and a TV. Amazing place for a wonderful price

Jd's Tropical Stay in Cairns was pure bliss, Jenni was the best host I've ever experienced. The unit is in a fabulous location. The unit has many hidden goodies to enjoy. The tropical gardens are absolutely wonderful. The decor was so nice better then any resort I've been too. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for something better than any resort. I will be staying again for sure. Great price. Everything was perfect. Well done, JDs Tropical Stays for offering something different and personal than any other place.

It was just perfect.

Host was super friendly, she waited for me since it was raining. The unit was value for money. Amazing room, peaceful and comfy. Very clean and had a welcome kit. Lighting was just perfect. The unit has 3 large coaches and very comfortable. Space was very relaxing and comfortable. I loved the pot plants. I will surely stay there again during my next trip to Cairns. Highly recommended

No hot water in the shower at 2:30 in the morning when I left so just had a splash which made a 13 hr days driving pretty uncomfortable. The squeaky bed, oh dear oh dear 🙈

It was like a little home away from home packed with little surprises and very spacious
