The chair inside room was broken, couldn't sit on it. Felt like a person would fall through it.. no wine glass either.

The bathroom was cramped. I tripped constantly on the lip between the carpeted and tiled areas.

Was close to the airport and easy to find. It was nice and clean.

The kettle and complimentary coffee and sugar etc were all kept in the wrong place so I moved them all to a more convenient spot that actually had a power point to plug into for boiling water. I didn't like being stared at and then completely ignored when the code I was given wouldn't allow me access back into the hotel and I asked a 'gentleman' if he would open the door for me as I had a bag full of groceries that was getting heavy (especially after having to lug all my gear up 3 flights of stairs initially). I had to then wait until a real gentleman came downstairs so I could enter the hotel and walk up 3 flights of stairs to access my room (where the code did actually work) as the first 'man' had walked away, up the stairs to his own room, after first smiling at me evilly, then sadistically shaking his head, silently saying no, I will let you stand there in humiliation. I also didn't like the fact that there was no USB ports (in this day and age) for charging things using USB charging cords, one of which I was able to purchase from said convenient grocery shop just a short walk across the street and down the path (aim for Domino's and you'll find it). Rooms are definitely still under renovation but the basics were there and comfortable.

The location was good with convenient shops and restaurants a short walk across the road. Bed and couch were comfortable. The biscuits and the message on the front of them were just what I needed with my coffee. The toilet paper embossing/stamping was a unique touch and I used the spare roll so I could continue to enjoy looking at the toilet paper artistry. It was gorgeous.

Checking in with key codes are a pain, we finally figured out how it works but several people we found at the front door were having major problems gaining access.

The reviews are true, definitely not the cleanest place, entering smelt like faint cigarette/ old house smell. Found a dead fly in the wardrobe (not sure how long he’s been there), some mould looking circles above the shower and soap scum on the shower head. Dusty vents. My room was not sound proof at all- can here the neighbours talking along with people out the corridor talking

Liked how you can self check in, just fill out the details then when you arrive you go straight to the room. No detour to the reception to check in. It’s a good place to stay for one night, as it was affordable and the location we needed.

Was extremely noisy next to main road and the doors and windows were not very noise proof which made it worse. There were no staff at all it seemed at the property. House keeping did not turn up at all for the entire 4 day stay.

Bed was ok. It was a central location. There was some nearby shops and a couple of restaurants that were actually quite good.

The hotel is tidy but old. No elevators and the key code is long making it difficult to remember

No microwave in my room as requested. Therefore could not warm my dinner brought along and had to organise late night.

The restaurant wasn't open at all and we didn't see any staff except the cleaners, who knocked on our door at 9.45 to ask if we were ready to leave (checkout was at 10am).

This is an acceptable motel for short stays. The rooms are clean and tidy, they provide amenities and clean towels and there is a pool for use during the day. Also free parking across the road from Portside Wharf and a very lovely stroll away from Eat Street.

Checkin process. The staff didn't know what she was doing. Sent a text message for checkin without the password. Have to wait almost for 20min in the hot weather outside the door to get access to the room which was very disappointing. There was no apologies offered.
