Breakfast was yummy, the bacon was very tasty and plenty of options to choose each morning, it was very peaceful, quiet and just a perfect location/place to unwind and recharge from city life

The breakfast was very substantial & loved the local produce provided. Lynne's rocky road was a real hit too:) Chris & Lynne made us feel so welcome as did their adorable fur baby Ripley. We've spent many weekends in Stanthorpe over the years but can confidently say that we'll definitely stay here again on our next return trip. The little things always leave a big impression so thankyou Chris & Lynne for your lovely hospitality, welcome letter & bottle of wine for our anniversary.

nothing to dislike… it’s stunning. some wifi would be a bonus but we got on fine without it for our short stay.

the property is beautiful. our cottage had a lovely view of the water. it was so peaceful. Chris & Lynne are the perfect hosts. we had a lovely hamper on arrival. fresh eggs bacon plus some lovely extras.. all the small details were thought of, essential oils for diffuser, fluffy robes and Lynne’s yummy rocky road. Thank you both, we had the best weekend. we will be back in the winter months to enjoy the stove. Sandra & Jason

Breakfast provided in our room was excellent, everything was fresh, lots of variety and lots of food and little extras (even some homemade Rocky Road in the fridge). The location is just beautiful and quiet with birds and wildlife. The cabins are gorgeous, lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Lynne and Chris are lovely hosts who made sure our stay was just perfect!

no wifi was a shock at first but that was also nice ( forced me not to work for the time I stayed - I took walks, watched movies and read instead...

The delightful extra touches like artisan bread, snacks, cheese platter, hearty breakfast provisions, home made rocky road, luxury bath salts, crisp white luxury linen and comfy bed all made my stay so much more special.

..Had a wonderful time, everything was there that we would need. Got an up grade to the spa cottage, and we took advantage of it, was lovely relaxing. All of the food supplies were fantastic and Lynne's rocky road was delicious. Chris and Lynne have thought of everything.

Stayed in the retreat, a very generous sized room, beautifully decorated and a very comfortable king size bed and comfortable lounges, snuggly throws. The view across the lake and surrounding gardens were just beautiful. A lovely peaceful retreat. A very delicious breakfast was also included. Chris and Lynne were delightful hosts and we would definitely stay here again.

We could not find fault .

The cottage was just what we needed . The hosts Chris and Lynne have created a haven of beauty and tranquility . Our cottage was supplied with a well thought out pantry for our breakfasts and a cheese platter to accompany your refreshment of choice on the verandah whilst overlooking the lake . Our bed was comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the frogs and sitting in front of the fire. The gardens are a testimony of their hard work and dedication to this property.

Breakfast was included and we expected a Continental Breakfast. However, there was an abundance of selection for breakfast: fruit, yoghurt, granola, milk, apple juice (locally grown), bread + 3 condiments, bacon and eggs (locally grown) and tomato, and a choice of tea and pod coffees. Also included was a cheese platter with homemade Rocky Road set up in the fridge. The attention to detail in the cottage was exceptional eg the Bath salts for the spa, makeup removers, wood for the fireplace (topped up daily). The hosts were the nicest people (and also their puppy was very welcoming) - recommending wineries to visit, ringing a winery on our behalf to obtain a bottle of wine instead of driving back in to town. The location of the cottages was very peaceful with an abundance of bird life.
