Lack of lighting when we arrived late so hard to find where to go even though we have stayed a few times the dark is a real issue, also shower second time different room just doesn’t hold water it flows out to the floor

Everything was beautiful at Goonoo Goonoo Station. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters which were gorgeous with views out over the paddocks. Breakfast at the Glasshouse was delicious.

Goonoo Goonoo Station is extraordinarily beautiful. Our stay here was nothing short of perfection. The peacefulness of the station, with only the sounds of nature are soothing to the soul and perfect for a recharge. From the moment we arrived the welcoming was warm. The accommodation is so thoughtfully styled and hug you comfortable. The beds are feather like dreamy. From every window, there are views forever. We dined evening and breakfasts at the Glasshouse restaurant, and it is 10/10 for ambience, food, bar and service. The staff at the station are completely delightful, making our stay wonderful. We will be back!

No wifi working. Couldnt get netflix etc even though it is on. I dont like coffee pods so take your own instant if you are like me.

The grounds, cabins or cottages were rustic, clean and well thought out. Beds comfy. They do have a mini fridge with mini bar including milk. Coffee is coffee pods only, great teas. Loved the restaurant on site. The views were so beautiful.

Goonoo Goonoo Station is a unique property that sets a benchmark for rural, historical, classical accommodation. The facilities are thoughtfully offered with every aspect respecting the original buildings and function of the estate. Peaceful and beautiful Australian landscape surrounds the grounds as far as the eye can see and the jewel in the crown is the Glasshouse Restaurant…..one of the best dining rooms we’ve ever had the pleasure to dine in.

For longer stays, a small oven would be appreciated. Egg cups plus side plates would be beneficial.

The Office is our preferred cottage at Goonoo Goonoo Station. It suits us perfectly to enjoy the central garden and birdlife that it supports. Comfortable beds, quiet and well appointed. The cleaning staff were excellent, thoughtful and well trained. The gardening and maintenance staff were pleasant yet unintuitive.

So, my partner and I stumbled upon Goonoo Goonoo Station during our epic Aussie road trip, and boy, are we glad we did! We only stayed for one night, but it was like stumbling upon a little slice of paradise in the middle of nowhere. First things first, finding the place in the dark was a bit of an adventure. So, if you're rolling in after sunset like we did, just keep your eyes peeled because it's tucked away, but totally worth the hunt. Once we finally made it, though, it was like stepping into a whole other world. The station is oozing with history, and our room was the perfect mix of cozy and swanky. Plus, the staff? Super friendly and made us feel right at home. Now, here's the kicker: the surroundings. During the day, it's like something out of a postcard. Seriously, take a minute to soak it all in. Trust me, you won't regret it. We didn't get to explore as much as we wanted, but even just a taste of the scenery left us in awe. Oh, and let's not forget about the grub. The restaurant on-site served up some seriously tasty dishes. Locally sourced ingredients, bursting with flavor—definitely a highlight of our stay. So, if you're cruising across Oz and looking for a unique stopover, do yourself a favor and hit up Goonoo Goonoo Station. Just remember, keep an eye out for it in the dark, and save some time to bask in the beauty of the surroundings during the day. You can thank me later! 🚗💨

Stayed in the Jackaroo. Plenty of space. Everything we needed was there. Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely to sit on the back veranda as the sun set.
