Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThere was no information in the compendium about the location of the pool, which is located a short distance from the property.
The property had everything we needed for our nine night stay. A lot of thought was put into supplying provisions and toiletries, and there was a compendium of information about the property and services/ amenities was provided. It was great to be able to wash and dry our clothes. My favourite part was the patio and the view of the harbour, as I love watching the shipping movements. The apartment is so conveniently located close to restaurants and to the city centre.

AustraliaThe bed was smaller than I would expect for a high end apartment and mattress not as comfortable- we're both under 6 feet tall but would imagine if you were tall and bigger staying more than one night would get uncomfortable. We stayed 4 nights and I didn't sleep as well as I usually do.

Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well catered for people like us who enjoy cooking for ourselves as well as eating out. Good location for restaurants, cruises and reasonable walk to CBD and shops even in heat and humidity. Host allowed us late check out when our flight was put back.
