Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Australia$100 deposit is to much and takes way to long to be returned I just got excuses on 7 to 10 days of return and they blame the bank If I was to give a deposit in 7 to 10 days I bet it wouldn’t happen Room was paid for in full months before but this $100 was requested on check in The only bad point of our stay and still waiting for it’s return 😡😡😡😡

Luxurious hotel and quirky with it being rounded shape. Lovely spacious modern rooms with everything you need. Went up for drinks on floor 9 at night, which was very nice and good views of the city. The location was also very good, not too far away from everything you need.

AustraliaHotel would benefit with a pool/spa! Parking could also be improved with a lower $ rate. We parked in the partner carpark around the corner which was convenient but a couple minutes walk.
Although the room was small, it was beautiful and clean and exactly what was described when booking. The bathroom was great and very practical, facilities and amenities in the room were also fantastic. Loved the overall design of the hotel and cannot complain!

United KingdomI was offered $50 a night extra for parking which I felt was pricey, I was able to park elsewhere where close by for $48 for the full two nights.
Beautiful interior, very clean. Comfortable bed, great amenities and mini bar. Amazing rooftop view restaurant and bar with a great selection on wine and bar snacks. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

AustraliaCouldn’t pay by cash had to put on credit card , then the charge fee for same. Charge for parking in own carpark. Have to wait up to week for your refund that you put down($100) for extras which we didn’t use, most hotels take this off as soon as you check out . Feel like they are trying hard to get money from you at all angles which is sad as you want your stay to be pleasant .
Very modern looking, comfortable beds, great staff , great position to most things in area.

Staff is always great to work with. We found that the room we had on the second floor seemed more spacious compared to others we stayed on other floors. Had a great view of the park. Had breakfast, busy as usual. Good assortment of food to choose from. We had ordered omelettes with one being vegetarian, both were very nice. Had ordered coffee when we arrived, took a bit long but was very busy so understandable. Also used the secured parking, was very good dropping off and picking up.

The girl (I’m assuming she was a supervisor) that was taking us to our table was very rude and we also saw her being rude to another member of staff. The bacon was undercooked and there was a hair in my mushrooms and we had to wait 10 mins for the bacon and still came out floppy and under cooked. This is the first time this has happened. Previous stays here the breakfast has been really great
