Check-in was an issue, no clear signage where to check in, for those playing along at home, its at the bar, however as the hotel doesn't have access to the payment from Booking.com there was a lot of time wasted and receipts need to be shown to get the key. The Accommodation is above a smoking area of a hotel and the amount of smoke you have to walk through to get in to the hotel is as bad as the days when smoking indoors was ok. I feel for the staff who have to work there. Needs exhaust fans, any will be better than nothing, If you are looking for a hard bed, this is not the place for you.

The meal at the restaurant was nice.

Everything else, the room was like a fancy jail cell, if you suffer from claustrophobia do not stay it's not for you.

The focus of the establishment is clearly the entertainment areas (bar/restaurant/gaming), rather than the rooms which felt old & tired. Smoky, musty smell throughout like an old pub. No lift, dark dated corridors with very low hanging light fixtures. Room windows sealed shut & some bricked up, room needed airing. No toilet fan or usable window. Had to search for room amenities - found the kettle along with an unplugged microwave sitting in the bathroom cabinet. On arriving onsite it was unclear where the accomm checkin desk was, lacked outdoor signage - being unfamiliar with the place I ended up doing laps until I found someone to ask.

Having the restaurant onsite was handy, parking was easy. Location was near to where we needed to be and fitted our family of five in an adjoining family room setup. Beds were comfortable.

It was not the room I booked, there was no vanity, old and very dated. And no where to sit…I gathered it was a ploy to get you downstairs.

There were no towels on arrival. The staff gave 3 floor mats when we requested bath towels. There was no soap or shampoo on checkin. Poor smell in the room.

Wasn’t advertised as a club, had to check in at the bar, had to walk luggage through sports bar…Also no secure parking… TV remote didn’t work and when turned on manually there wasn’t any reception.! Bathroom was not clean, had no exhaust system and no hand towel.

That we weren't put in the room we had originally booked! We had to wait around to have things soughted out after a very long drive. That the sheets on the bed had disgusting stains on them!

Bedroom was awful and beds were so uncomfortable couldn't find sleep.when try to call hotel reception for hours no body pick up the call.

No reception had to wait quit long to get someone to attend us to check in. No body there to answer the call. Tv remote was working as it was really hard to kill the time, specifically when beds are so uncomfortable.

Noise in the rooms. Disorganisation in booking - they messed up the room numbers etc causing confusion and intrusion into another person's room.

I had booked online and I turned up to check in and the staff took my payment when they knew they didnt have the original double room I booked. I paid for a double room but ended up in a single room and my partner wasnt too happy. They did provide a roll in bed but still it wasnt what we originally booked. They said it was Booking dot coms fault and I needed to call them for refund ..called them and they said they had tried to call but staff members apprntly hung up on them when they said they were from Booking dot com. I had tried calling them and was advised a Manager will call me and nobody ended up calling me about my refund. Usually the hotel are pretty good as I have stayed there a few times but this time that wasnt the case. Will give them another chance.

The staff were friendly and offered a free meal at their restaurant, we declined as we already had dinner plans.
