Room did not have a fire alarm detector. Sliding door to bathroom was hard to slide and had a screech sound.

Super help from staff cause I left something behind. Good bedding, air-conditioning worked great. Very good check in after hours

The curtains did not have a clip to contain it so it was easy for people outside to see what we were doing inside.

The room was easy to access. We arrived after hours and the instructions to access the room key card was very useful. The room had a wardrobe, microwave, fridge, and a kettle which we made use of. The bathroom was clean too.

People were able to smoke at the small tables outside the units, however this made it very uncomfortable for us as we couldn't enjoy this facility because, even if they weren't smoking, the smell was still there in the ashtrays. This smoke also drifted into our room and we had to close the windows with no fresh air. For that reason, we would be unlikely to stay there again.

Door didn't seem terribly secure. I wouldn't think it was tricky to get into the room by a determined nasty person. So, security could be beefed up.

Location was great. Room was clean and tidy. Certainly not a posh hotel, but fridge, TV, good size. I was happy with it. Didn't try pool, but wasn't very big.

I did not take time to find out whether there is a restaurant there. The only thing, I guess, that I did not like is that the ceiling fan needs cleaning - it has accumulated dust over time, though with the air conditioning it was not necessary to use the fan. In fact, I did not use the fan, but the sight of dust was concerning.

Receptive and helpful management. It is conveniently accessible to the Esplanade, Shopping area and Recreation facilities (including Cairns Aquarium). The quietness of the places is a plus. Either by cab or by foot, most places can be reached with a certain degree of ease. The ease or efficiency of getting booked in as well as checking out is commendable. The cost is also very affordable, relatively. It is good for short-stay holiday makers who are seeking affordable accommodation.

The property does need a little maintenance, But overall good value for its location.

I normally stay at another property however they had no space available after a booking mishap I was lucky to find space in this property location is very good walking distance to night market and park.

Need hair dryer Room 17 needs replace the chain lock on the door and fly screen.

I found the huge bunch of wiring hanging out of fan a bit of an eyesore....was assured it was safe but surely it can be covered in some way? Also both taps in shower had C (cold) indicated...most Aussies know hot is on left but could be misleading to foreigners as water comes out quite hot as soon as tap turned on. Just change the left one to H....also there seemed to be a lot of very tiny insects on bench and around microwave area....they were not ants so am unsure...maybe leave a can of bug spray in cupboard? Also maybe a roll of paper towel or chux wipes to wipe down bench ? These are not really complaints as such, more just suggestions

It's hard to rate the staff when I never saw them....was always on tours during day so only saw office staff on check in....were always helpful if I needed to phone for any reason.

Had to park my car several units down nearer the office as that was the only car park spot left that night when I arrived late + walked back up to my room in heavy rain with my things.🥺 Be better if room number had allocated space outside room!

Location was easy to find late at night in the rain.🌧 Easy access to key through instructions given. Room was well presented, clean fresh cool sheets + value for money. A shower + comfy bed were just the ticket! A/C was a bit noisy but hummed me to sleep after a long day of travel.🙂 Woke to a sunny warm day in Tropical Cairns.
