We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaDated spaces, pool was unlike the pictures, it’s just a pond for fish, kitchen with rat/mice traps, really not a place for couples or children. More like a place if you can’t find where to sleep, and just want to rest for a night. Not recommended for long term stays.

AustraliaCan’t fault the hostel for this, but I wish it was closer to the race start (it’s 25-mins walk to Fogarty Park). I knew this prior to making the booking so it’s on me. It’s close to KFC, and 24hr McDonalds so I made use of them when I got hungry. Nothing to fault really.
I came for Cairns Marathon. Owner was very friendly. She accommodated me after my running race and provided towel and shower facilities and I stayed and relaxed in the backyard lounge until my time to go to the airport in late afternoon. My private room was clean and spacious. Wifi worked.

It is quite a bit of walk to the lagoon but just a few mins walk from Cairns Central. Bed and pillows are comfortable and the room is spacious with AC attached. There are 2 kitchens, both are tidy and clean. Bathroom and toilets could be cleaner but it is a hostel so not gonna complain. Quiet at night too so you will have a good night sleep.

CanadaNot very clean, :( Showers had mold up in the corners. This caused me to have horrible allergies the whole time we were there(very itchy eyes, bad cough, sneezing, stuffy nose, etc.) This totally could’ve been a personal thing but just wanted to put it out there :)! The percolator coffee machine in the kitchen also had mold and a dead cockroach in it as well. :(
Great location! It was easy to walk to the marina and to Cairns Central! The owner was nice and the people in the hostel were very nice!! Good price :)!
