The lodge is a 5-10 min walk from the slopes but that didn’t worry us, may worry some people but we enjoyed the walk.

The place was very clean and homey. Matt was a great host and his wife’s food is to die for.

We loved our stay. Matt was super helpful. The best part was food, especially the dinner, awesome quality and taste. Since it is not too crowded we enjoyed the TV room as well as Pool. The location is not that bad and walkable given there was no snow on the road. Matt did provide pickup and drop from the lodge to the Perisher Center.

Everything is perfect host is super nice and helpful chief was brilliant . I’ve never had such a delicious meal in any of the hotel ( most of them are five start quality and the food is expensive yet not as good as the lodge !) Kids were super happy and enjoy their kids meal as well. We can’t wait to come back again with our family ! Thank you Matt and team !

The owner, Matt, warmly welcomed us upon our arrival and provided us with all the necessary information for skiing. Matt's wife, the chef, prepared delectable meals during our stay, and as a vegetarian, I was delighted by the variety and quality of vegetarian options available. Our stay at Boonoona was unquestionably one of the most remarkable trips we've had in Australia in the past decade. The staff were all exceptionally kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend Boonoona for those seeking a cozy and comfortable stay in Perisher.

Abit of a walk to the property from the main area if you miss pick up time.

Comfortable clean accomodation. Snow right outside the doors. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They pick you up and drop you off in the main area after breakfast and before dinner !

No view from our room and we had 5 single beds. We would have preferred a double and three singles for our family.

Matt and Loui were excellent hosts. Food was very good and Matt was always happy to help with a lift down to the ski lifts and back up to the lodge. The heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch.

I wasn’t serve with a hot breakfast one morning (out of four).

Excellent hosts. Thoughtful extras such as reliable wifi, huge dry room for ski gear, complimentary sunscreen lotion, large spa and sauna facilities (no extra charge), two TV rooms, books, games, and of course the pool table. Meals were excellent and punctual…..and the bar tab was surprisingly cheap compared to any other licenced venues in a ski resort town. Matt especially went out his way to ferry guests to and from the ski lifts.
