Everything. Accomodation was well appointed, top quality, charming, comfortable and private, with a lovely view and wildlife of the feathered variety. Breakfast was substantail with a lot of variety, well cooked and yummy, I felt very spoiled. Denise and Peter were super friendly ,interesting people and went out of their way to make my stay wonderful . I highly recommend Blue Gum Cottage on Bay!

Homely property by the water ran by a lovely welcoming couple Denise and Peter. You have the whole area to use bedroom/bathroom/kitchen/dining/lounge and they come back in the morning to cook you a beautiful breakfast. Highly recommend.

The hosts were extremely friendly, and we had access to the lounge and outside rear deck, so plenty of room to relax in other than the bedroom. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed that this stay was more than just a place to sleep—it was a complete experience. It was my first time at a genuine bed and breakfast, and it was truly exceptional. The cottage brimmed with charm, adorned in an old English style that I adore. Denise's meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout, such as her thoughtful touch of covering the ceramic milk jar with fabric to keep it fresh and background jazz music playing as you enjoy the delicious continental breakfast. A real bonus was waking up in the morning, as I draw the curtains to see their dog Jesse and cat Louie basking outside in the sun and peering back at me with their innocent eyes. And the night before I also got the chance to see the beautiful sunset descending into the water. The conversations I had with Denise and Peter was also a highlight, hearing about their travels and how they built this cottage with their bare hands 26 years ago. I am deeply inspired by them and to me they exemplify a life that is well-lived. Definitely coming back here again for another stay in the near future!

The bedroom was very small and our suitcase did not fit on the stand provided. We prefer a Queen-sized bed.

This B&B is in a very pretty location with an abundance of birdlife. Denise & Peter are gracious and friendly hosts. The breakfast served was delicious with a good variety. The B&B is a 10 minute drive to the Bouddi National Park and gorgeous coastal walks in the area.

Such a beautiful little cosy cottage. Denise and Peter were very welcoming and accommodating. Our stay was lovely and the breakfast with a view was amazing. The location was close to beaches and dining. We highly recommend staying here.

Not a gripe, just a warning that Bluegum cottage is a family home. You have self contained bedroom,, bathroom section and then you occupy the the upper level of the house,while the hosts vacate to downstairs to give you privacy. I am not sure it is absolutely clear from the website, and you may be expecting a self contained cottage. For our purposes it was actually lovely to have contact with the hosts and benefit from their hospitality in a way that reminded me of the BNB's of old in England and France. But if you are looking for absolute seclusion and privacy it may not be for you.

Lovely comfortable BNB in the true old fashioned way. Amazing and elegant cooked breakfast provided with all the trimmings, in a sunlit room overlooking the water. And a warm and comfy bed. Denise even put out cocktail glasses and prepared ice so my sister and I could mix a cocktail to watch the Matilda's game.

There was nothing wrong or anything to complain about at the Blue Gum Cottage.

Peter and Denise were wonderful, friendly hosts.Their home has magnicent views and has a lovely deck were we enjoyed sitting and enjoying the birds, trees and the view of the bay. The cooked full breakfast provided every morning was out of this world. The table was beautifully set and we were served on beautiful fine china. I would recommend this B and B to anyone.
