I didn't like the smell of cigarettes in the reception area or the full ashtrays on the outside tables of the rooms near us. No smell whatsoever in the room so we stayed inside. It would not have been a problem only it has me coughing but that is my problem not someone else's so all ok.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The couple in reception were very friendly. It was a very quiet location, even though the motel appeared to be fully booked or close to it.

There is repairs to do in the bathroom, mattress was the worst ever, had to fill the jug with the shower, no plug for the sink to wash up, no Toaster, the reception smells like an ashtray and the towels when wet also smell of smoke.

The rooms clearly had not been cleaned very thoroughly. there was pasta left in the electric jug, the previous guests had obviously tried to cook their dinner in the actual jug. The fridge and walls were also quite dirty and one of the rooms smelled like a smokers room. When booking the accommodation it showed a pool onsite, this pool was blocked off and inaccessible to guests.

Room is very basic. Bathroom is tiny. Our room did not get serviced on our 2nd day.

Very close to the Greyhound bus stops. Short walk to McDonalds. Short walk to the Art Deco buildings and shops. Staff let us store our bags. Room was clean.

Motel was not open at 2pm for check in, despite having a hand written note on the door saying manager would be back at 1.30pm. No one turned up until 2:15pm, he saw us waiting and no apology or acknowledgment we were waiting. Once in the room it smelt musty but that’s half expected with an old style motel. Very basic room with just a kettle, no toaster, microwave or iron. Couldn’t change temperature of air conditioner as no remote provided. Bed was only a double, not a comfortable mattress and very low to the floor and hubby kept bumping his head on the old wooden beam overhead.

The motel was clean, water pressure was excellent, good location, pillows super comfortable.

The motel is good value for money. As a motel in this price range it is excellent. It is an older style motel and has the facilities as such. Such things as no hair dryer, no offer of wifi and fewer power points. However if I had expected these things I would have expected to pay a lot more. So no complaints here. A very clean, tidy and well kept motel.

The room smelt of bleach. The power points were back to front. The bed lamps were coming out of their sockets. The air conditioner would randomly switch off and the main switch for it was dodgy. The fan had one speed (super fast). The cushions on the bed were dirty. Very run down.

Not suitable for more than one or two nights stay, maximum The bathroom badly needs updating, shower had no shower head, there was no pool garden or BBQ as advertised , some sad looking plants in pots and a rusted bbq outside my door in car park space. Staying for five days , couldn’t open window for fresh air., room is very nice but small and dark. Difficult to sit outside basically sitting in car park
