It would have been good to have cutlery and a plate in the room, though when I asked at reception the staff were happy to provide these to me.

The motel room was perfectly servicable with good amenities including kettle and microwave. The location was very convenient given its proximity to the airport, after having arrived on a late night flight. The staff were friendly and helpful

Room cleaned daily, friendly staff, short distance from pick up points for trips to the Great Barrier Reef and other outdoor /sea based activities, very close pickup point for Kuranda trip (virtually next door), near shopping and food amenities, Tandoori House restaurant next to/in motel itself, free wifi and safe location. Room also has a lockup safe for valuables.

Most rooms we had over our 4 different stays were good, but don;'t go for ROOM 11, windows covered by wall of wood and bamboo, so very dark, also shower hot tap fell off, door safety latch was broken. There is an outside area to compensate for the bamboo front wall but it overlooks all manner of pipes, rubbish, rough fencing, etc, so who would want to sit out there at all!

Friendly young staff, though one older staff lady we encountered was not user friendly, good location to town and airport, clean rooms, well supplied with bathroom supplies, handy to food outlets nearby. Good price for budget travelers. Parking available.

The walls were super thin so you could clearly hear people talking, coughing etc. next door. Luckily my neighbours were not too noisy.

Clean, comfortable room with plenty of tea & a nice shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a massive delay on my flight so arrived very late but they gave me clear instructions on how to check myself in. Location is good, 20 minute walk into the centre, decent pub just over the road & plenty of shops, take away options nearby.

This is a fit for purpose accommodation. It is clean, has all the conveniences of a much more expensive hotel/ motel like iron, fridge, a table and a bit of space. Only needed it for an overnight and the property delivered.

Pool was small, and looked seldom-used. Ferget those backpacker babes sunning their cute cheeks.

I try to get an inexpensive place, centrally located for the first few nights off the plane - this place satisfied the first and although a good 10 minute walk from the CBD, there was a bus stop nearby on the next block north with frequent buses downtown, terminating short time later at a big regional shopping center with, a big WOOLIES, COLES' K-MART ETC near the rail station Back near ASPECT CENTRAL - aross the road is another bus stop for buses heading north. Adjacent the across the road bus stop are several fast food joints, restaurants and a small Supermart. Aspect Centrall is actually a tarted- up 70s motel which accounts low cost and good facilities - it has everything needed for a short stay. Comfort was good.

The rooms could benefit from some general maintenance e.g. a small section of the rocky bathroom tiling was missing and the shower tap handle wasn’t screwed on.

Room was in need of a revamp. Very noisy, people and traffic, could do with double glazing. Decor and kitchen dated. Very basic. Ok for the one night, but couldn't have stayed there for a week. Depressing and didn't feel private. Curtains quite hard to join together and anchor at the edges. Arrived at midnight to a locked box which we didn't know the code for. We had been given no instructions about what to do. We eventually saw a sign with a phone number which we rang and then it was fine, the person gave us the code. But not too nice when we first got there in the dark with everything locked up. An email telling us what to expect and what to do would have been nice.

The room was clean and nice sheets etc, comfy bed, nice toiletries. Lady on reception let us leave our bags there for a while after checking out. Very friendly.

Couldn't use communal areas until after 8am. Upstairs bar/ BBQ area un tidy and neglected.
