The bathrooms weren’t always as clean as they could (but it’s the other guests fault) and some the staff seemed to be annoyed by the guests…

The rooms were clean and had enough space for everyone’s bags. The accommodation has a bus stop near by and also does car rentals. A few shops, a bar and the rock kangaroos are in walking distance. The owner is super nice and gives you a map and all the information you need for different activities and places in the island. If you want you can include breakfast in your stay.

There was cobwebs around the bed and there was no lock to our room

It was on the esplanade and the manager was really helpful & accommodating

The tent / floor was a bit dirty for my spouse’s liking

Location was great, beds were comfy, facilities were beyond what we expected. Best thing was the owner- super nice and helped out whatever was needed- gave a full rundown on what to do on the island during our stay which was super helpful!

The safari tents we stayed in were in dirty conditions. Lots of spider webs.

Needs a good clean, replace taps that fall off. Need to get the blower out and clear out some leaves.

Sinks in bathrooms are leaking, the owner get quickly mad on people (no patient).

Peaceful, people are smiling, quiet and friendly, the place is next to the beach, well located, staff very helpful, every facilities on the place.

It was only 5 min walk to the bus station. The Room/Tent was clean and we had light, a fan and power inside. The bathroom and kitchen also were clean. And there was a pool table in the chilling area

One staff member friendly. Another miserable. Young short term traveller staff used here so hit and miss. A tent room is not private enough and use cheap beds. The other room the parents used was nice and roomy and perfectly good. You need to either hire a car which is possible from them but they are all very old and close to MOT failure I imagine, or get a local bus.

The tents could use some better and more clean fans, as it gets a little hot. Kitchen was not the cleanest. Wi-fi was not the best in many areas.

Fun and interesting little accomodation. Cool details. We stayed in one of the tents with a Roof. There is Good bathrooms and toilets. Good view from the Common area.

Good location 10mins walk from the rock wallabies, also close to the fort walks where you can see wallabies. Friendly host, very informative and welcoming.

Felt a bit dated in terms of decor and a few of the walls had been damaged. Air con was quite loud, which was slightly annoying during the night.

Good location, that had bus stops nearby. Room was a good size!

I went there with no expectations so I was happy with what I got

The staff was really really friendly!!! The hostel provides everything you need e.g. Towels, Kitchen stuff and it was really good located. Also I got to see a free bird show in the morning😊 And I would recommend hiring a car from the hostel!

The AC made a lot of noise. The curtains didn't make the room very dark.

Spacious 2 person room, AC worked well (but made a lot of noise), nice hot showers.

I booked a bed in a 2-bed and a 4-bed dormitory, both with AC and fan The dormitory is wide and large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a single bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. Towel is provided. For each of these dorms (and the entire hostel), you have access to many sanitory facilities (1 full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), 1 shower + sink, 1 shower, 1 toilet + sink, 1 toilet). All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, open from 7am to 10pm. Breakfast available for 10aud (cereals, toasts, fruit, yoghurt, juice) The common spaces are very nice. The WiFi is good. Located in the heart of Nelly Bay. 50m away from the main beach. 1.3km away from the ferry terminal / supermarket. The owner (Ian) is very chilled and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.
