Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe glass door was huge and heavy. I had to open and close it slowly. There was a huge column in my room. I hit my knee and my shin while getting out of bed.
The location was great. It was halfway between Crown St and Central Station. The bedsheets were changed every day, which wasn't necessary, but a nice luxury. The bar fridge was handy for me to put drinks or any food I brought into the room.

United States of AmericaRooms are a bit dated and small which is fine but a small couch would’ve been nice. Elevators slow but building is aged and expected.
Very friendly staff, great service, quiet, wonderful 24hr. coffee stations, a.m. pastries. Great location too.

AustraliaCurtain to cover the bathroom is a bit strange.
Location to Central Station is fantastic. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel had a great vibe. Will now be my Sydney go to hotel.

AustraliaSpouse felt bed was not as comfy as she would have liked. Perhaps provide more than just two glasses, just in case. Modern bedside lamps - one was dim & one was full strength. It'd be helpful if there was dimming settings in case one person wants to read.
Have previously stayed on upper levels, with a street / other view. This time was behind reception on ground floor - felt a bit "bunker" like.

AustraliaA nearby building alarm went off at 3:30am Saturday morning and it was still blaring at 7:30am as I went out for the day. It's a steep walk up into Surry Hills if you stay here for Moore Park stadium accessibility.
We got a lovely corner room this time with lots of natural light that seemed more spacious than the other rooms we have had on previous stays. There were more food choices available alongside the breakfast coffee machine, fruit and pastries mainly. A staff member said we could have a kettle and carton of milk when we inquired about milk for tea so we will use that option next time we're visiting the family.

NetherlandsThere is no second lock on the inside of the hotel room door. A second lock can be an important feature for women, in particular, to feel safe. Also, the shower is great but generates quite a bit of water on the floor which defies the short shower curtain and is difficult to mop up with the towel provided.
Location is very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lobby area is comfortable and convenient for a complimentary coffee, and doing some work, checking emails etc. When there was a problem with the air-conditioner, staff were quick to fix it.

AustraliaThe rooms themselves didn't have windows, but the bathrooms had, and they were separated from the rooms with glass doors and fixed glass panels. Also, the bathrooms were a little awkward to use in that almost the whole floor was wet when taking a shower.
Rooms (we had booked twice within a week); location was excellent with 3 min walk to Sydney Central Station; there was not a real breakfast as such, however, complimentary coffee facilities and several sweets and fruit were provided.

AustraliaRoom (410) had weird humming sound, like a water pump going on and off every 6 seconds, continuously. Room felt like a slightly larger jail cell (worked for myself and colleague) for a few days business trip Ear plugs are a recommendation

AustraliaThe hotel's aesthetic is very dark and the room was quite small. I also would have loved a kettle in my room to make tea instead of having to go all the way down stairs.

AustraliaOnly minor things, but my bed was a bit hard and cheap (though the bed linen and pillows were nice). No option of an open window for fresh air, at least in my room. Please do a nice sign in a large font in a laminate stand next to each coffee machine with CLEAR directions. Everybody struggled to work these out! One for each machine type! Also a laminate sign to indicate the counter top bins! But overall a lovely stay and I would definitely return if price stays budget!
Fabulous location and just up the road from Central but not a main road. Loved the gorgeous ambience of the foyer, the free 24hr coffee and free breakfast snacks in the morning, kind and pleasant staff, toiletries were nice. Great price to satisfaction ratio.
