Excellent accommodation in the center of St. Wolfgang a few minutes from the port. The hotel was very comfortable with traditional equipment. Breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed the lobby with small refreshments for free. A big advantage was a private beach with paddle boards for free for hotel guests. I recommend this hotel.

We loved the hotel but our room was a little warm at night if it had been a particularly warm day. Be prepared for some noise at night if your room faces the town square, although the double glazed window and door does provide very good sound insulation.

We loved this fantastic hotel which has a traditional feel and is family run. The view from our room over the centre of the village was great. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. If you were to arrive by car, the free parking provided by the hotel is perfectly fine despite the hotel being at the centre of the village. The hot and cold breakfast is excellent, both the quality and the choice available. Staff are polite, friendly and professional. We doubt that you will be disappointed with the Zimmerbrau.

We would expect breakfast to be included for the price charged. Fortunately the place is full with excellent sit-down bakeries and tasting an apfelstrudel along with some capucino is also a good alternative before going out to enjoy beautiful hiking paths in the surroundings.

The location is right in the center of this charming small town, close to restaurants and to the lake small promenade. They provide coffee and snacks in the hotel’s living room area in the afternoon. We received recommendations for dinner (quite good) and some attractions in the area.

Could have benefited from a fan in the room , there is no air con so it was very hot and was woken early by refuse collection at 6.30am due to open window. Ground floor rooms noisy.

Friendly staff and amazing location in the middle of the historic town. Liked the availability of coffee and cake in the afternoon and the private lakeside garden was gorgeous.

Everything, literally everything. It's almost like family at this traditional Austrian hotel. Rooms maybe be small but very carefully and well equipped. Kids play area and private lake area complete the experience. Staff and owners were so so considerate it was exceptional. Marjorie, Alexandria and Hugo really put their heart in this property. This is the kind of of place that stays in your heart forever. One of the best stays I've had anywhere

We stayed for a week and made a mistake of booking a standard double room, which with hindsight was a little small for 2 people. The double bed was also a little small and the soft pillows not to my liking.

The hotel is located in town centre with lots of restaurants close by (the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner). It is 2 minutes walk to the lake and very close to all the walking trails. The family run hotel is clean with friendly owners and staff. The hotel gets very quiet once the tourists have left town in the evening. The hotel has parking which is a plus point.

Would have preferred if apartment came with breakfast included, not many other options around and the price was a little steep with kids. Overall hotel was still a good value.

Hotel is fantastic! The location can't be beat, the staff is wonderful, breakfast was lovely, It was the perfect place to stay as we explored the Christmas markets. We booked an apartment and it was perfect for our family of four, with two kids under 12. Would definitely stay there again.

WIFI was not working properly, Rooms are not airconditioned (it was quite hot during the day). Only after I booked I realized that breakfast is not included (a bit unusual for European booking). Tourist tax cannot be paid at the time of the booking and for some reason they insisted I pay in cache instead of card (for reasons which I did not understand).

Location is really at the very centre of the village/city, they have really nice garage close by. Hotel is very clean.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Free use of paddle boards and a pedal boat at the hotel's own R&R spot on the lake. Walking distance to everything, e.g. the cog railway station. Great room with a round bed and a wonderful view of the lake from the balcony.
